Wow - yours is much more sophistacated than mine - it obviously has to be in your situation!

It sounds a very useful implant. It's a pity you couldn't plug them in and re charge over night.
Several of my "friends" suggested getting a USB type attachment so that I re-charge at work!!

Love it Marina. You would literally be tied to the computer.

Morning all.
Gert, I would throw a hissy fit.  Not that it would do much good but you may feel better.
Went to a large Melb bank today. Stood in line for more than 10 minutes while a long line built up behind me. Asked for the manager as I left the bank and gave her a piece of my mind about the lack of service. What really bugs me is that they are closing our local branch where the service is excellent.

Don't think it snowed at Cherokee today.  We left for Melbourne at 6.30 this morning.  The weather forecaster said 2 but feels like -4. Have to agree.

Saw an eye specialist who stuck a needle in my eye to try to stop a small blood vessel that has been leaking. Hope it works. Be awful if I couldn't read recipes .

Glad you got home safely, and no snow is a bonus ... soup and stew weather at the moment.

Fingers crossed that your eye will be fine now.

As for banks, sometimes they can be soooo frustrating ... there was a photo circulating on the internet last year of a bank queue somewhere overseas - perhaps in Africa.  Anyway, everyone sits on seats against the wall and they take off their shoes and put the shoes in the queue.  That way, the clients get to sit and relax and their shoes stand in a very orderly line which forms the queue and when their 'shoes' come up, they go to the next available teller.  What a great idea that is!

I hope the needle works for you Chookie, is it going to be a regular thing or a one-off?  I'd have a fit and run the other way if they told me I had to have that procedure!

Chairs should be provided and take a number. Sit and keep your shoes on.

That sounds horrid Chookie. I would have to have a general anaesthetic for that procedure. Hope it's successful for you.

Marina, love it. Shoes in line.
Michele, I have been considering it since before Xmas. The reason I have put it on here is that it sounds much worse than it is.  I have spoken to several people who have had it and checked out the Dr also.
Judy, they don't know how successful it will be. Also there is a new drug which is said to be even better than what I had today, but not available until July. This new drug is suited to anyone who has eye problems due to Diabetes.  Fortunately not me.
I have to be checked in one Month.

I hope the injection seals the blood vessel for you Chookie. You were very brave as I didn't hear you screaming from here.

Hi friends.

A sunny morning here.It was very wet walking underfoot this morning due to the heavy dew on the grass.Chance took off across the cornfield after a pheasant and came back very wet.

You were very brave having an injection in the eye Chookie. Fingers crossed it cured the problem.  :-*
