Interesting segment on ACA on Monday night when they will be comparing other thermal products on the market with the TMX.

Well, just what  I expected - the Thermomix came out on top after the Choice team  tested it and 4 other machines.

Good shopping Judy & Katie.  I haven't been back since I saw you there Katie.  What cookbook did you buy?

Denise, how cute for you to be able to see the fox's.  They are so cute even though here they do havoc with stock.

I think we all watched the ACA segment Judy.  I was especially interested in seeing the new Kitchen Aid one.  Interesting that it had a 4 litre bowl.

LOL Katie.Did you hide the cookbook away so Richard doesn't see it  ;D ;D

What were the recipes that the Choice team test in the thermal cookers to make the TM come on top Judy?

They actually didn't show that so obviously all the testing was behind closed doors. They just compared bowl sizes, ease of using the different machines and support which of course the TMX has so much of because of the sheer number of machines in the country. There was a chef using his TMX in his restaurant, he loved it - said it was like having an extra worker in the kitchen.

Thanks Katie, out of sight out of mind.  I thought I'd found most things I'd bought but those 3 items hid from me LOL.

So, as per our discussion on the way home, perhaps it is worth going to all the trouble of making our  own lamingtons.  Thanks for an enjoyable outing.

I was surprised that most of the other machines are not that much cheaper than Thermomix.

Judy I can't wait to be able to make purchases like that. Is Costco a lot cheaper?

Katj when Aldi comes there will be one quite near me. We are all going to Aldi then coming to my place for coffee etc.

Yes Judy definitely worth making your own lamingtons - they had they fake cake taste that bought cake has.  Yes It was a nice outing, I enjoyed it.

The cookbook I bought was "Margaret & Me" written by Margaret Fulton's granddaughter.  As well as a cookbook, it has stories of her childhood growing up with Margeret as her grandmother.  At first glance the book looks interesting.  No CC I didn't hide it from Richard!
