Morning all.
No rain yesterday and warm and sunny. More of the same today and Saturday. Lovely.
Open Day Saturday.

I'm so glad the move went smoothly Judy, and all your efforts of setting up your Mum and Jeff's room beforehand has obviously helped their transition. Well done! You must be so relieved it's over.

Good morning everyone.  A beautiful day here yesterday, today it's dull and overcast day .  Hopefully the sun will find it's way through.

Good morning everyone, another lovely day here too. Thanks for your good wishes girls, day 2 ran more smoothly and we went to our first activity - rap ball. None of us had ever heard of it let alone play it but our girls (and Geoff from his princess chair) improved with each shot they had.  Big welcome afternoon tea with the whole of the facility this afternoon.

It sounds a very caring place Judy.

We had 18 ml of rain overnight. I'm trying to get the washing done today as we are going away for a few days on Monday.

Hi friends.
A dull day here with the threat of rain. Another lovely walk with Chance.

Good to know that everything is going smoothly Judy.

Hi friends.
Damp here today and it was very wet underfoot walking Chance this morning. Being the weekend it was very quiet with only one car passing me on the road bit of our walk.
Have a great weekend everyone. :)

The move went smoothly girls but the place is so big we were scattered all over the place and we are used to most of us being in the same room.  There are so many lounge and outside areas from which to choose.  Their rooms came up a real treat, I'm very pleased with them as were they.  It will take a while for both staff and residents to settle in and get used to their new home.  I don't know how many residents I had to point in the right direction today, at least we all knew each other.  They are both downstairs in rooms next to each other.
Judy, I can vouch for taking a while to get used to their new home!
Pleased it has all gone well.  You are a blessing to them both. Xx

Morning all.
I have been missing a bit as very busy at Cherokee. We had 3 families visit for Open Day. Have ordered a large Skip to continue to clean out shed. Nephew came and took lots of farm stuff. A neighbour is coming on Wednesday with a trailer to take lots of plants still in pots , to Invermay.
Saturday was lovely and sunny but yesterday was very windy with showers at night. No big trees down.
NBN is to be installed today at Cherokee.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Cookie, hope weather is good for your holiday.
