Good morning everyone.  Overcast and humid here.  There is thunder in the distance.

Cuilidh.. with 2 nurses and a qualified aged carer in the family I am being well looked after.

DIL coming this morning with a vegetable dish for my dinner.  The men will be having casserole from the freezer.

It is with great sadness that I let you all know that Geoff passed away at 12.10 am on Thursday 17th January with me and his sister at his bedside.  Peace for him at last.

Judy such sad news about Geoff but he is free from MS now. He was such a lovely man and always willing to welcome your forum friends.
DH and I send you much love.  Your poor Mum, so sad that she is missing Geoff so much.

So sorry to hear your poor Mum is missing Geoff Judy.

We have a very poorly dog. We were so worried about him we took him to the vet this morning. He was given two injections. One an anti-inflammatory to reduce his temperature, the other an antibiotic to help any underlying infection he is fighting. Tonight he did eat a little food after two days of not eating.

That isn't very nice CC. I hate it when our pets are unwell. I hope Chance is on the way to recovery.

C C hope the medication works for Chance.  Eating a little sounds good.

Ral was admitted to hospital on Friday with a very low Platelet count. 3.  It is now 6.
They are treating the Platelet problem and then will look for the cause.  He doesn’t feel unwell and certainly doesn’t look  unwell.  I am so glad we are now living in Ballarat as we are 10 minutes by car from the hospital. The St John of God hospital is locally known as the Medical Motel.  DD is keeping an eye on things which takes a lot of pressure off me.
I think he will be in there for some time so if I am not on here very often, I’m sure you will understand.

Thanks for your condolences girls.
Good luck to Ral Chookie, I hope his iPad is enough to amuse him in what may be a long stay.
Den, you must be worried about Chance, I do hope the injection does the job.
