Morning all.
Yesterday we had a man with a chain saw cut down a few dead trees and trim branches from other trees.  He did a great job.  This morning, his mate is coming to mulch the branches he cut down.
It is 6 degrees T the moment.  Heating up again later in the week.

2.  1/2 degrees at the moment.  Real Autumn now.   No rain in sight.  Very dry.

CC, have been watching with interest your political problems. Feel very sorry for the population . Our Politicians are the pits also. But ours is more about infighting and backstabbing.

It’s total chaos here in our Parliament. 50% of Parliament MP’s want to remain in the EU but they are forgetting that 52% of the country voted to leave the EU. Goodness knows what will happen next.

That's cold Chookie. I am enjoying our 18* degree mornings. I totally agree with your statement about politicians. The UK is certainly interesting at the moment. I wonder what will happen?

Margaret enjoy your visitors and don't over do it.

We are both exhausted after a full day at the Hospital. I can at least walk around but Ral is attached to the machine all day.  The platelets are very low again and his Specialist made a special trip from Melbourne to see him.  We both feel so lucky with the excellent attention he is getting.
Last night I made Portuguese Custard Tarts for staff and patients. Patients often bring sweets in to share.  Usually bought.

It is just coming up to 8.30 am, Chookie, and thinking of you both as you must be back at the hospital for today's session.  Hope Ral is handling the treatment without too many complaints, I know it can't be easy for either of you.

Only today to go Chookie. then a break. How very nice of the specialist to come up. It makes your health benefits well worth it.

Margaret, enjoy your meal out and have fun with your visitors.

I feel upset for you both Chookie. I am sitting by the pool here in Port Douglas and thinking about you hoping for the best. I am taking advantage of the sun today before a predicted cyclone hits us once again. I am bloody sick of the rain this wet season..

You've certainly had a lot Gert. The north west has had very little rain this season and I believe even Darwin has had less monsoon rain than normal. Don't go rusty or mouldy Gert. ;D ;D ;D

Gert, when we get things under control you could come and visit.  We can guarantee no rain. Thanks for the nice thoughts.  Thursday was the pits. Yesterday a lot better. Ral entertained the whole ward by somehow getting the drip line inside his jumper. Took 3 nurses to extract it so he could remove the jumper.
Cookie have a great time with your mini holiday.
Mab, knowing you, you will spoil your visitors and they won’t want to go home.
It was a beautiful sunny warm Autumn day.

Slow and steady for Ral. No way I will be travelling south in the COLD! LOL! Anyway the weather is fine in Port Douglas for the moment. Tomorrow is four years since Ted died so I will be having a Guinness at The Tin Shed. Famous RSL here in Port.
