Julie, my sister is having their floor sanded and re coated. They have to shift out for a week. Ours could probably do with a refresh but the thought of removing everything give me nightmares.

Made me laugh chookie. You could shift everything out and bring back only what you NEED! New floors and a clean out all at once. LOL!

Gert we all need you in our life.

Gert, you are so rude.  Love it.  LOL. Perhaps we could shift out and leave it all behind. Set up new some where else.
Nearly over the cold. Not used to feeling ill.  Bit of a shock.
Looking forward to doing a bit of cooking.
Julie, that was a very quick sale. You are correct about getting back home and cooking again.

Just think about it Chookie. If we were all forced out of our houses like those poor people who have lost theirs in the fires, what would we really need to set up a comfortable living again having lost all the sentimental things. First back inside our houses would be our Thermomix. LOL!

We have found, after moving out of our home for the renovations for 1 year, then moving back in again recently that there are an awful lot of things we did not (and do not) miss.

That is so true. We've found that living in the van for an extended trip, you don't really NEED all the stuff you have.

So far this year I have rid myself of 40 items so I am on track. Last year I far exceeded my target so not stressed  if by the end of the year I run out of STUFF!!!

Gert, that is fantastic.  I’m very pleased with myself if I don’t buy any new stuff.  Once I have mastered this, I will then consider getting rid of some things.

It is a good feeling when you take bags of unwanted items to the op shop.

Morning all. Warming up, 28 today.   Yesterday we had a short storm and some lovely rain.
