Kids swimming lessons this morning - 9am on a Sunday is just cruel! Just pottering around for the rest of the day. Spent a couple of hours on the Internet looking at accommodation options in Port Douglas - thought I had the perfect place, then read on reviews that its not walking distance to restaurants etc so no good for us. Back to the drawing board - if I can wrest the iPad away from miss 10 that is!

I did a whole lot of nothing today.  It was my lovely sister's 40th party last night, so we drove up to her place yesterday afternoon, out for dinner and then more celebrations back at her place afterwards.  We crawled into be at about 3.30am!!  Didn't know we still had it in us.  ;)
We got up about 8am this morning, and her good friend who has a coffee van came around to make us our morning cups  ;D  It was wonderful!
Then we drove home and straight to MIL & FILs to collect the kids, and they cooked us a lovely roast for lunch :)  So we only got home at about 4pm, and luckily have had not had to worry much about dinner.  Just about to put the kids to bed, and I don't think the parents will be far behind....

Yes Mum always enjoys me popping in at weekends with something to eat - even if I didn't cook it myself which is usually the case these days.  Geoff was good today but told me some very strange stories yesterday  :-))  He takes over my iPad too deedub but if it makes him happy then who am I to complain.

Got a bit of baking done today. I made some garlic paste to take away and a few other bits and pieces.

Just pulled out a load of washing from the machine and guess who forgot to check pockets for tissues :-)) What a mess >:( Out on the washing line, hopefully the breeze will disperse most of the bits.

DW and I went for a short walk this morning, then watched the football. I also did a lot of cooking and went for a nice bush run with the dog.  :)

Oh no CC, that's one of life's biggest annoyances.
Hope the wind blows it all off.

I agree CC as it happens here too and it's so frustrating. Hope the wind blows it all away for you.
How did the garlic paste turn out cookie? I quite fancy trying that one.

I've had a fantastic weekend away. Had a very early morning but it was so, so worth it.

Hopefully some cooking today.

Visited my girlfriend on Saturday to celebrate her birthday. :)

Spent Sunday with DS no.1 and family on Sunday. :)

It was nice to get away from some lifes problems that are happening at the moment. :(
