It's really cool here tonight Bedlam and I felt it during the day as well.
I agree with the comments about the light switches in Crowne and obviously not designed by a woman. Very stupid but I agree that the bed was very comfy. Altogether a fabulous weekend even with dodgy light switches LOL

Went out to a pampered chef evening, just to look.
Has anyone used their stoneware?

This was the recipe used for a trifle.
 https://www.facebook.com/pamperedchefjo/notes. It was good.

Also lots of gardening today. I typed it all out but lost it with the poor Internet connection!

Great Jen  :-\ hopefully it still works for me next time!...it was time consuming to get it up and running.
I am "meant" to submit them monthly....but I'm always putting it off and they end up quarterly anyway  :P  I have only been fine once...but had plenty of warnings!  I didn't realise that it can take up to 2 weeks for them to receive it by post, so this way I hope I don't get in trouble again  ;)

atm, typing up lists for all the trophies hubby needs to buy for the whole footy club for presentations....and pray that no one has been forgotten!
Have more to do for tax return, but I think I have cabin fever & need to get out today  :P  This extremely wet weather means hubby can't do too much atm, and he's driving me bonkers!!!!......I will have to sneak out whilst he's checking the animals, or he'll want to come shopping too....and that's never a pleasant, carefree experience  :-X

Busy sightseeing the last couple of days - went to crocodile farm yesterday, miss 8 in her element! My cousin took us to Karunda today, poor guy (single, no kids) traipsed around with us through butterfly farm, venom museum and bird world - actually he quite liked bird world!
Kids now in the pool for pre dinner swim... only 2 more nights here, worst luck!

Had  couple of stressful days with the announcement of the WA Ed dept restructure. Good news is I still have my job but 20 of my workmates don't. Nine of us will now do the work that used to be done by 23 people.  >:(

Tonight DW invited one of her fellow principals over for tea so we had a good whinge about the changes. Also got to meet her husband for the first time.  He lives in another town 2 hrs away.  It was nice to finally meet him.  :)

That is terrible Den. How stressful for you but more so for the others  who are losing their jobs.  Cuts being made everywhere. I fear it will only get worse when we find out how much in debt this country is .Scares me when these  pollies are spending billions every day . Our great great grandchildren  will be paying for it.

That is good that you have your Job Den.

Yes Gert, pollies are spending too much.

Even cut backs to stuff for our little school.
Continuous fund raising just to pay staff wages for tuckshop ect...

You're right Gert, it is awful for those that have been made redundant. I have spoken with a couple of them and they are taking it pretty hard. One of the men is 57, single and has just buit a new house. He will probably find it hard to get a job.

I feel a little guilty having survived.

It is an awful situation Den but don't feel guilty because you survived the cuts.

You are deservedly lucky  :D
