Ian is happily snoring now and I am about to turn off the lights and go to sleep.  :D

Gert, that outfit looks great on your and you certainly have Uni's modelling poses down pat, looks like you are a natural.

Deb,fantastic that the trip away all worked out so well, what a great way to start a new job. Congratulations to DD, she certainly has the hieght to do well in long jump and athletics in general.

MF, your trip looks amazing, out of all the places you have visited so far I've only been to Florence (and loved it) so loving seeing all the the other photos and the ones of Florence bring back good memories.

Have fun in Venice, I hope you're going on a gondola ride MF.  DD and I did one in Las Vegas and I felt like I was in Venice  ;D

Ooh...I loved Venice. More than Florence actually.

Hope your gondola guy sings. Ours was on strike when we visited. He took us around in silence. Hahaha.

I agree BZB I love Venice more than Florence too although I am happy that we stopped here for a couple of nights.
Everything closes so early in Florence but we needed a reasonably early night. Leaving here soonish. No rush but want to stop in Bologna for a couple of hours as my GD 17 was an exchange student there last year so I have instructions on where I have to go etc. LOL I would need 3 days to do everything she said!  ;D

Housework today. Yesterday we had a Model A run. It was great. We went up into the hills first, then back down onto the flat, down one of the main streets of the city (St George's Terrace), up into King's Park and then out to a new Men's shed on the ocean.

MF sounds fab, and everyone else is so busy on here. I love this thread  ;)
Raining hard this morning, even the dog doesn't want to go out!

DH away all day and I need to have a sort out Inside ready for more demolition on Weds - a hatch in a bedroom ceiling for insulation and inspection and two cupboard doors on eaves storage. It will be messy! Electrician here today too.

Trying to HP to replace a charger that is 3 weeks old, for the new tablets I bought.

They are not very helpful at all.

DH rained off his task.
Electrician bombed the kitchen, went out for parts and on spur of moment had lunch out, just as well as didn't know kitchen would be bombed!
Had a huge tidy up ready for more demolition on weds. Sorry no pics, not enough broadband!!! But at least some connection so can type to say hi but posts take ages to load and still fail sometimes.
