Sure was. They talk about young people kicking up their heels until all hours. The 85+ ones were they ones staying up half the night. I couldn't match them. I will be a mess after as week of it next year. I'll have to go to Forumfest to recover. ;)

Yeah well they don't  have  much time left so they make the most of it!

Gert

They're getting to the age where they truly appreciate that it is a short time living and a long time dead. So they better party when while they still can.

I went out for a bike ride and a run before work.  The wind was howling terribly.  I was really fast with the wind at my back, pretty slow riding into it and leaning sideways riding across it. This is the third day of strong wind and showers. It is getting old.

ROFL.
I usually love the rainy weather, but I am getting tired of it too. The wind can be expensive on the Port purchases.  :-))

A private room will be much more peaceful.

We had visitors for 4 days so enjoying a quiet night with both boys in bed at normal time rather than negotiating getting overtired. Missed having someone clean my kitchen after dinner though.

now that DH is working I got up with him but decided against the gym and enjoying my smoothie outside in the sun and finally getting a chance to catch up on the forum. Life with both of us working full time and not from home is going to take a bit of adjusting for all of us, but I'm sure we will get into a routine before too long.

How wonderful DJ, cooking can commence at last in your lovely aga.  Love to see a picture of you standing, stirring something right there.

I am watching my DD cook in my Thermomix . Luckily she is having a mental health day as I am having mental health hangover day.
