I know what you mean Kimmy. Our school fete is only two weeks away and things are really busy as I'm on the organising committee and joint conveyor of the bar. I think I was out every night last week.
I thought my kids might be past wanting to go to the Christmas pageant, but I was (thankfully) wrong, and we had a lovely morning. We had brekky in the city with some friends and then watched the pageant together. I love the pageant, but it signals the beginning of the Christmas season,  and I'm not quite ready yet. I had lunch with my brothers last week, and somehow offered to have Christmas lunch at our house this year. :D

ES I am sure it will be great fun.
Everyone seems busy. I guess it will increase as Christmas gets nearer. DD and I had coffee this morning. This afternoon I have been washing, ironing, cleaning and made bread. Also pizza for dinner.

I'm sure you'll have fun ES. The Christmas pageant sounds lovely. We had our annual gala day parade today. It raises money for the children's ward at the local hospital. Sadly it's but a glimpse of what it was when I was a child. But still a fun morning.

DD and I had a great day doing a gallery crawl around the lovely leafy northern fringe of Sydney at the Arcadian Artists Trail. We spent the whole day out  :o and went to eight galleries that were full of beautiful things from 50 different artists.

Will have to put some pics on the shopping thread as lots of beautiful things kept jumping into our bags - pottery, jewellery and clothes mostly ;D It turns out there is a clothes designer nearby who supplies boutiques all over Australia. (Similar to those lovely clothes you were wearing in Adelaide Bedlam). Would do it all over again tomorrow if the wallet wasn't so bare ;D ;D ;D

Dips, humous, pesto & balsamic glaze with olive oil. Crusty bread, veggie sticks, cheese & crackers & assorted meats. These we had under the pop up out by the pool.

Pizzas,  did 4 types, cajun chicken, meat lovers, pizza biaca with a twist (spread a thin layer of onion jam over base) & mushroom & spinach.
Chocolate Brownies later :) we ate these in the alfresco kitchen :)

Swimming lessons this morning (for the kids not me), then went to school for another 2nd hand clothes sorting session. School fair is in 2 weeks but I'm taking it easy this year. Apart from helping out with sorting clothes all I'm doing on the actual day is working in the bar for 3-4 hours. They get a keg donated so they need helpers who can pour a beer - the bar co-ordinator books me early each year since it's just me & 1 other guy who can work the beer tap! Fun though - I get to see everyone & report back to the wives on how many beers hubby has had!

Love it deedub.

We went to our garage sale this morning until about 12.30. It was rather hot. DH was walking on some grass and his knee started to get sore so we came home. Fortunately our friends had a lovely shady tree in the front yard. We brought home much less than we took too.

Thanks Gert I will pass it on. I think with us away he may rest it most of the afternoons at least. I am going to chase up the MRI results when we get back, I don't care what DH says.  :)
