What a lovely sounding weekend wonder, happy Anni, and well done for the silver 25 ;D
I really like the idea of each choosing a treat, must do that when (if) we go away next.

DH spent the morning rodding drains.. We are having major bother with rainwater and trying to work out the drains. Some seem to go nowhere...

Years ago a teacher told me what she did to her hair when she had nits and it worked for my DD: wash hair, then use lots of conditioner and a nit comb.  Wash out. Repeat every night until all the nits have gone.  They just slide off the hair strand with the conditioner.

That's what we did with tea tree shampoo and conditioner and a fine comb.
Good luck... Like all things in families, this too will pass.  ;D

Thanks for all the well wishes.

My DS seemed to attract nits for years. We found the plain conditioner and the nit comb while time consuming was the best option.

Congrats Wonder. Love your anniversary gift to each other :)

Our weekend in Mandurah was very enjoyable. 6 adults and 8 kids in a house made a lot of noise, chit chat and laughter. Our food fest ran throughout the 2 days. We brought so much food that we didn't have to go out for any meals.

The holiday house was located at Madora Bay, next to a lovely beach.

On Saturday morning, we went crabbing at the estuary.

I could see lots of little crabs but only managed to catch 1 decent-sized Blue Swimmer. Fortunately the others fared much better. It required patience to see the crabs especially when they are camouflaged against seaweeds. So excited whenever I spotted one. A few got away. Most had to be let go due to size.

5 hours got us a pretty good haul, which was then whipped up into a sublime Chilli Crabs by our friend.

Pure indulgence.....

Spectacular BZB, it sounds like it was a great weekend. 14 people in 1 house is a lot of people  :D
