Lots of men like yours maddy, if us women had our way, jobs would get done so much quicker just picking up the phone.

Great catch for the lad, he's going to be so thrilled to see himself in the magazine.

Nice to see you back after a break maddy, your life is so hectic - I'd have to book into a health farm every so often to recharge my batteries if I lived your life.

Oh Maddy I would be thrilled to catch that fish but more thrilled to cook and eat it. It was a whopper.

Maddy that fish is wonderful. Is it a trout?  Did you eat it?

That's a great fish Maddie, your DS looks so proud and happy with it. Will be great for him to get in the magazine. It must have been lovely getting away for even a few days.

Mich, sounds like your DS has found a great partner.

My DH is like yours CC. He would rather do it himself. It usually works out well.

Great fish Maddy. Congratulations to DS. Sunburn not so good. The pool saga sounds like something you see on funniest home videos!

Today has been a slow one. Last night I had the hospital casualty dept initiation. Poor DS6 got out of bed last night and half asleep or sleepwalking banged into the door and split his ear lobe open. There was a loud bang and then the poor darling screamed out in shock. Off to casualty we went and three and half hours later, when everybody else was asleep, we made it back to bed all patched up and with no stitches. So proud of my brave boy. We are all going to bed early tonight.

Oh no Kimmy what an ordeal for you both. Casualty in the middle of the night would not be fun.
Hope you both enjoy the early night.

Maddy, that fish is almost as big as DS - a very impressive catch.
Kimmy, not a good evening adventure. Hope it's not repeated.
I caught up with some friends from school today and then did the supermarket shopping. Decided against going to the growers market on Sunday as the forecast is 43C so also went to the fruit shop and butchers. Visited my parents, did the school pick up and then crossed our fingers that the temp would be over 36C at 5pm so that DD wouldn't have to brave a netball court that had been absorbing the heat all day. Luckily, the weather came through and I was enjoying a ice cold savvy at home instead of sweating by the courts.,but hoping that next week the weather will be cooler and netball will be fun.
