Brilliant chair CC, so glad to see it.
Today have achieved a lot of small jobs, painted side of bath, undercoated bathroom door frame and a strip of wood on another door. Cleaned all the paint brushes from wax oil, stain and paint.
Waxed a wooden bed head with wax polish twice to match colour with bedside tables and chest of drawers. Can't tell til daylight if it needs another coat.
Vacuumed downstairs for sawdust and the landing floorboards to save the new carpets, and finished taking the old wall paper off in the loo.
Decorator hopefully will re paper on Friday. Then I can paint it. We have one man for one day only left in decorating budget!!!
No curtains up tonight, but that's ok.

Loving the lighter days, I get more done and the animals are twice a day for me now at the mo since we put automatic water for the cow. I also turned her out to eat grass today for a change.

Lovely to read your post DJ. We are all seeing a bit of light at the end of the long miserable winter for you. Any flowers popping up yet?

Beautiful rocker CC. Very desirable.

CC the rocker looks very comfortable. Well done.
DJ one day you may look back at all this and chuckle, maybe??

This morning we went to Sculptures by the Sea down at Cottelsoe. We thoroughly enjoyed it as the sun wasn't shining even though it was still warm. There were all sorts of things.
Quite a few caught my eye.

This one with the Barbie's had a lot of little girls around it. I'm not sure if they were fascinated or distressed.

CC, you are right now for your old age.  I can just see you sitting in that beautifully restored rocker with a cuppa and your iPad LOL.
Interesting sculptures Cookie, not sure where they're heading with poor Barbie.
Slowly eliminating jobs DJ, the worse one would be cleaning paint brushes.
Out to lunch with a friend today then visited SIL & BIL before visiting Geoff much later in the day than usual.

More tasks to tick off DJ. Well done.
CC, you and DH are a clever couple. That chair is Just perfect. Clever lady.
Cookie, we had planned to go last night and then ran out of steam. Did the goon bag dominate? Perfect day for it today.

Interesting sculpture of the Barbie dolls Cookie :-\ To me it looks as though they are on a commando crawl over the wire  :D

I like the idea of the Barbie's being on a commando crawl CC. It's better than them all being 'hung' up there.

Bedlam the 'goon' bag is down near the groyne. It is rather good. Quite unusual.
Here is a better photo of it.
