Oh I am really sorry to hear this terrible news, blood clots to the brain are awful and really not much or if any warning.

I am very lucky and a survivor from them. I have slight brain damage and take blood thinning tablets daily.

I am really really sorry to hear this.

huge hug to you & family.

my dear hubby sends his deepest condolences too.

xx

Thank you everyone for your lovely words and all the hugs.  They were greatly  appreciated.  It was a very big shock, she was the youngest in the family (60 in July) and we all thought she would outlive the lot of us. Due to retire in 2 weeks time a new grandson 3 months ago.   I guess we all have to make the most of  things as we don't know what is just around the corner.  Take care every one   :-*

Marie that is very sad. I wake up to us all to live life to the full and don't sweat the small stuff.

My sympathies to all her family.

That is so true Marie, it is a wake-up call to others.

I've just come in from having lunch with my SIL visiting from Melbourne and all his family, always a lively conversation when this group get together.

Yes Hally  there is no one more deserving of using the "good stuff" than you and your family . I have never had anything in my home for "best" , special occasions or other wise.  My mother and her  mother were the same.
