Lovely Judy. It is wonderful when grandparents can have a very special bond with the Grandies. My Dad and DD were a lethal pair. Very naughty together from about  the time she was 18 months old.  ;D ;D

Some people might consider themselves lucky if they saw their MIL only 3 times a year! ;D

It is so lovely being a nanna, all the fun but no  responsibility.  Now we are very blessed to be great Grand parents to our beautiful Charlotte,  who is now 15 months old.

Lucky you Penny, I hope to be around long enough to become a great-grandma too.

Hi judydawn, I am only 67 we all had our first child in our early 20's, so you don't have to be old to be a great grandma :))

I started early too Penny but my DD was married 10 years before she had her first so that's put me behind the 8 ball so to speak. I'm the same age as you and my eldest grandie is only 9.

LOL my inlaws live next door and my parents around the corner. I actually am closer to my inlaws - my parents are a bit "over" young children whereas our kids are my inlaws only grandchildren so they are doted upon.
