That is gorgeous, CC, and I really love how it converts to a little bed!  Great idea.

DH and I have decided out house is very "sterile" - black and white and cream all over and not enough personality (plenty of mess, so maybe that counts  ;) ), so I'm making plans on how to spruce it up!  Well, mostly just dreaming at the moment.  Going to paint DD's room first, I think - it was never properly painted after our renovations, so seems a good place to start.  And trying to dream up a few DIY artworks for the walls...

Also having a meeting with our business insurance broker today.  Trying to see if we can get a better deal.  Exciting stuff  :P

Beautiful job Denise, what a craftsman you're married to.  I just love the timber.  Fletcher's cot turned into a bed too, it's a great idea.

Ain't that the truth Katj. If only they knew that doing a task is is more of a turn on that picking up a bunch of flowers.

Denise, not only is the cot a work of art, it is made with lots of love. Louis is a lucky young man. Congratulations to your DH.

CC,  pass on our congratulations to DH for completing such a beautiful piece of furniture.  What a creative household.  You with your creative upholstery and cakes and DH with his woodwork.  Louis will know it is very special and was made just for him.
