Michelle, I often wonder how Amy is going.  Haven't seen Frozzie around for a while either.  Hope they are both doing well!

Both Amy and Frozzie are on FB

Hi all.  Been 'rollin on the river' all day.  Had wine and cheese tasting this morning.  Last night the crew entertained us with a concert.  Terrific. Lots of cocktails.  Will post a couple of photos.  Last day today.  Party tonight.  Having a great time.

I love cocktails so would want a different one each night like I'd do on a cruise ship.  Glad you're enjoying yourselves Chookie, I knew you would.

Good to be up and running again and not be guest - thankyou Judy  :-*

Today we went to The Hunter Valley with DS and fiancée for a wedding expo. We took a picnic lunch. Inspired by Cookies cob loaf she made a while back, I made a cob loaf but didn't have everything on hand that Cookie filled hers with. Made layers of chicken, pesto, camembert and lettuce leaves. Really yummy, thankyou Cookie.  :D

Sounds fantastic Chookie.
We love a filled Cobb too mich.
Not as exciting as the great quail cook off, but..
I am back on after running out of battery on my iPad.  It's been different out here for me.  Lovely seeing emus running off down the tracks, they look like they are taking their first steps, very ungainly  Lots of kangaroos, big reds ( we only have greys near home) I feel sorry for the farmers though.  Watching them trying to get out of the fields isn't pleasant.  They throw themselves at the fence some getting caught, thankfully we only saw skeletal remains of those. And also a few foxes.  So far no snakes, thank goodness.
My first attempts at four wheel driving has been both scary and fun.  Some of the tracks are like roads and some of the supposedly cleared tracks are difficult to determine.  Thankfully yesterday I didn't drive as we had a lot of trouble finding the tracks, bush bashing it was, DH asked me if I would stop saying "oh my god". I was scared we would damage our car as the job is about 2 hours out of Esperance and although many of the tracks border farms they are huge, we haven't seen anything that resembled habitation.  DH admitted when we were home safe he was worried as well, but felt I was doing enough for us both.
We have had magical weather until today, yesterday was 23C today 12.  Even today we managed to avoid the worst with a ring off nasty clouds and blue sky above us.  Should be our last field day tomorrow, then a day to sight see.  So far I have mainly seen the bush which is very diverse and lots of huge trees bordering the fields, all very pretty. today's rainbow
