As long as he can step up to the plate when it's needed Cookie, that's the main thing.  Men who depend entirely on their wives are lost souls if they suddenly find themselves alone so they should have a grasp of the basic skills necessary to look after themselves.

Thanks Judy. The clan will be a bit smaller as some of the kids are sick so a few adults and kids will be missing as they don't want to spread the germs.
I always try to make the time to walk the dogs Judy as its my daily exercise and our local park is lovely with three separate lakes with lovely woodland and wildlife. Dogs enjoy it as much as we do.

How is Geoff doing? Hope you are well.

My DH isn't to bad when we he comes shopping, and is pretty good at helping with the chores.

Last night we went to the casino for a friends birthday, we haven't been there for years (except for concerts) they wanted to go to the Carverys all you can eat type place, pretty average meal for the price you pay. Anyway on the way out we had a little play on the machines I left $170.00 richer. Made up for the not so nice meal.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Glad to hear about your win Jen.

In Croatia there was this bench under a tree opposite the little local suoermarket and in English it's called "The Idiots Chair". Throughout the day there'd always be at least 5 or 6 older guys sitting there. One guy said he's not allowed home until 6pm, and another guy I don't think he ever left as he always seemed to be there. Even we'd walk home after dinner there'd be men sitting there. I think given the chance men gossip and talk about nothing in particular more than women.

Have spent the last 24 hours coming back. Thought I would burn and crash until the morning but am bright eyed and bushy tailed ATM and my iPad battery is going flat, so I hope I can fall back asleep before it conks out. Working tomorrow and wondering what my first meal back I should make...and how I'm going to work around jet lag. In broad daylight not looking forward to catching up on what my little puppies have managed to destroy in my absence.
