Beautiful candles Maddy. Great to see everything is well. How's Mr Maddy coping with the smells?

We had GS's footy final this morning. He managed to play three quarters after a nasty bee sting on his foot on Friday. It is still extremely red and swollen  and he is limping but wouldn't miss the final for anything. He scored two goals and they won so very happy. We then went to Mindarie house to arrange removal company to empty the house on wednesday as we are going to put it on the rental market. All systems go here yet again but has to be done.

I've been driving around the country side the last two days.  I have been presenting some of the workshops to school for WA's new studetn centred funding model that schools will be using next year.

The workshops were in two different country towns so htat meant driving to the firs town about 2.5 hous on Sunday arvo present the workshop for the day drive to the next town repeat the work shop  the next day athen drive home.

We rocked up to our hotel on Monday afternoon about 5 and was greated by one of the owners. Before she introduced herself I thought she was a poor speciman of a skimpy barmaid, but the bar and restuarant was closed on Mondays. Then I noticed the slight swaying and slow deliberate speech and got a wiff of alcohol as she hande out the keys. She was tanked!  :o We had a couple of chuckles at her expense over dinner that night.  :-))

I have found that publicans seem to be either teetotalers or alcoholics.

DD that is so true. I grew up in a small country town and each time the pub changed hands the townsfolk used to wonder which the new owner would be. It was always one or the other.

I'm hoping going to lose 20 kilos, so I have started gastric band hypnotherapy. This means that I don't actually undergo the operation but my mind will be programmed to think I am full after eating a small amount of food. Hypnosis worked for me during childbirth as a pain relief method, so I'm looking towards a positive result with weight loss.
