Happy today that the wind has finally died down. Has been ordinary up here. We had a tree come down over the chook yard, so this weekend it'll be out with the chainsaw and clean it up.
We've also been burying chooks, the foxes have been in again and am now down to 3 girls. My vege patch is well fertilised and resembling a chook cemetery at the moment. Not looking forward to planting summer veges...I am going to have to either remember burial sites, or dig real careful!
And I must admit I have been following "The Great TM5 Debate" with morbid interest. It is a bit like a train smash really, I just can't look away.
My conclusion at this stage...there's a lot of people out there with their panties in a wad.

Been travelling most of the day. I am not one for taking pics though the others are. Might find one or two on FB To copy in but have to ensure supply of wi if or 3G
Absolutely stunning place. Off tomorrow to Milford Sound so may have pics to share.

I went shopping and said "Hello" to
Geoffrey Palmer.
He was going into the Post Office while I was exiting.
Looks good for his age.

The southern lakes are stunning, Gert. Have you been to Tekapo? Run into any keas yet?
Last night DH and I went to see David Suchet (Agatha Christie's Poirot) in "The Last Confession". What a wonderful, wonderful show. It was my b'day present to DH as he loves Suchet and well worth every last dollar spent on super-good tickets. It was by far the the best live show we have seen in a great many years.

Beautiful photo Gert.i hope you get clear blue sky at Milford as it is very beautiful.
First time we went was picture perfect but second time spent the entire trip in the lower deck trying to keep warm and out of the rain. Couldn't see a thing for mist.

Had a biopsy done last week on a thing on my face although the doctor thought it was fine but did the biopsy anyway to be sure. Got the results today and it's a skin cancer
. I really didn't expect that. Lucky it's the best type of skin cancer to have though so getting it removed next week.
Really pays to have anything checked that doesn't look quiet right. I better get into the habit of wearing sun screen everyday I think.
