Cookie love your pics. Looks like great fun. And that patchwork is superb!

Oh Astarra! Hope things improve very soon.

I am going to try and put my life, house and garden back together after a very busy few months! And getting ready for DD's return on the weekend. She is moving back in  :-X

Big hugs Astarra to you all, wishing all a speedy recovery. X
MF we had internet issues last week, a Telstra fault, extremely frustrating. Hope it gets sorted quickly.

Hi everyone. Wifi very intermittent here and forum occasionally opening for me but so far nothing I have posted has been sent.
Been trying for days now.   ???

We figured as much. Don't worry about us. Just enjoy yourself! We will still be here.

Get better wishes your way Astarra for the kidlets.

Miss 13 came home with ice on her wrist from school yesterday, said she'd run into a boys hip while playing sport. She said it was a bit sore, but ok. Bit later on she says "Mum it is starting to throb and my fingers are a bit tingly" Great! So we feed the horses, go round to my friends and feed hers and the dog, get in the shower, make sure dinner is sorted for Miss 17 and girlfriends (had to get all that done first...!) then down to Swannies ED.
They were great, 30 minutes there, then round to the AH GP, then an xray, then the doc again, then a half cast on due to suspected fracture. Back home in 3 1/2 hours.  Should only be on for a week which is good.
Needless to say we were starving when we got home and the girls had made pizzas for us...we inhaled them!

Astarra, sending as many good wishes as I can muster for you and the girls!  Can only imagine how done in you are!!  Do make sure you get as much rest as you possibly can  . . . .(a school holiday affliction to the nth degree!!)

Nikkit - hope Miss 13's wrist heals quickly!  (Who the heck said "sport" was healthy?!?!?  lol - I've seen too many broken bones, etc., to subscribe to that theory!! :-)) ;D ;D)

Astarra I hope your girls all feel better in no time.

Spent the day helping move a friend, I must say its not the most fun job in the world, especially her 2 big couches that couldn't go through the front door and we only had a narrow side entrance with over grown bushes to fight through with very heavy couches, then narrow doors and passage ways to try and get them into the lounge area. Oh my goodness  glad that's done :)

Hope everyone is on the mend soon Astarra and Nikkit.

You are a very good friend dede.

I've just worked 14 days straight with 1 off and now am on day 3 of 7. Surprisingly enough I'm travelling well - just don't want to get off the treadmill.  :D

Judy the movie was "The Road to Perdition" a gangster movie. We all had tremendous fun.

Astarra I do hope your girls recover quickly. Nikkit poor Miss 13. Those boys hips are dangerous things. GF I totally agree with your view of sport. DD once had her eye socket broken with a twit that threw the softball bat.  :-\

We were up at 6.20 this morning. I had set the alarm but forgot to put it on.  ;D we had our farewell breakfast this morning. I buttered 18 loaves of bread that was toasted. Fun for a while, but not long. We consumed 20 dozen eggs, 22kg sausages, about a ton of bacon,,2kg frozen I onions and 6kg tomatoes. Most of the Model A'ers have left Busselton now. We have packed all the vehicles, trailers and cars to go back to Perth. Most leave tomorrow. The Teardrop was won by a West Australian lady who lives not far from us.
The next rally is in Darwin in 2016. We think we will go.

That's one big breakfast cookie, I'm sure everyone will be talking anout the rally for a long time to come. Will you be involved in the organisation of the next one or does that task belong to Darwinites?   Well done to you and your team for a job well done.

Well done Cookie, sleep in for you tomorrow!

Miss 13 says thanks all, she'll mend, is still in her jammies and has been in and out of bed all day as she also has come down with a cold!

Hubby and I have been in and out trying to lay garden bricks around the garden, has been a lazy-ish kinda day due to the rain. Tanks are overflowing, fertiliser is well watered in and the bricks we have put down look awesome. Although I think we'll need another pallet...my measurements were a bit off!
