Thanks BZB.  GD isn't one of the main characters but does have 2 roles where she is dressed as part of the background scenery and one part that is like a chorus and has to sing.  She is loving it. :)
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That is wonderful, Mab. I used to sticky beak in all sorts of performance stuff at school. Either take part, or organise if none to be found. Put together Sleeping Beauty when we were in Year 11. Romeo and Juliet in Year 10. All terribly amateurish, but loved it 😄

I can only imagine Nikkit! But pretty sure I'm glad I didn't have to clean up after them. We were home for a night last night. Tonight we are here Townsville. Blowing just as much as Cooktown was. Onto Mackay tomorrow.

The very last of our livestock went today.  A lifetime of livestock farming ended.

However we have so many bulbs to plant in the garden and plenty to do, so we won't be watching the grass grow!

LOL Nikkit how's the book coming on with ll your stories?????

Love the story Nikkit. Hubby did well to sail in there at low tide.

Gosh INAID it doesn't look so tropical in that weather.

I am babysitting my 8 week old GS for a few hours while DD and SIL take other 2 GK's to Royal Show.
I can't wait to get my hands on him...so cute!

What a lovely way to spend  a morning! My little GS was perfectly behaved. My Dd had expressed some breast milk for his feed  so he was happy.  He enjoyed the bouncinette under the trees while I hung out the washing, then enjoyed some tummy time on the floor before falling asleep again. So adorable, pity they have to grow up. Lol

I agree, and they seem to grow up so fast. It doesn't seem that long ago that my kids were babies.
I found myself with a free morning without kids. It was a lovely sunny morning so I drove to the beach, went for a lovely walk and ended up having a coffee in Mosley square, Glenelg. It's so nice to have some sunshine after winter. I visited my parents and stopped for lunch, then went home and tackled the washing and made some strawberry jam

Katj and ES, very different days both sound lovely.
I played with my " new baby" TM 5, puffed out now.

Went to the skin specialist today and having the missed skin cancer cut out early December, he also found another one which is only small so he will burn that one at the same time. I'm not looking forward to it again :(
In the mean time I have to massage my forehead to loosen the skin that's now tight because of the last cut, my poor eyebrow will be at my hairline if they keep giving me these face lifts. 😛
