Michelle, do you ever find that you have got rid of something (thrown it out, given it away etc) and then you want it again?  I would really like to declutter more, but in particular as the kids get older and their activities/interests change, I wish that I hadn't got rid of some things …...

Karen, I can't even remember most of the stuff that has gone out of the house and everything can be replaced.
If you are unsure about anything, pack it in a box label the contents on the box and pop it in the garage or shed, if you haven't needed anything out of the box or looked in the box for 6 months let it go for good.

This morning DH and I popped down to the Spud Shed. I bought 3 Dragon Fruit as they looked lovely and were only $2.99 each and a Black Sapote for $2.99. I do so love tropical fruit.
I'm after some cheap dark plums but they didn't have any today. I want to try fruit leather.

Thanks Michelle.  I will have to wait until DH is out of the house for a weekend until I can do a serious de-clutter though!   ;D ;D

Cookie, I have made fruit leather in the past, everyone loved it.  No added sugar. Strong flavours the best.
GC here so making Lemon Butter with one and bread with the other.  Both in TMX . Also Spring rolls with leftover prawn stir fry and corn fritters.
We dug up some fresh potatoes for dinner last night to have with roast and Varoma veggies.

Your GC will be wonderful cooks Chookie. Fresh, new potatoes sound lovely.

I hope to go and do the shopping later today. First I have to wait for the courier to come and pick up my TM5 to go to hospital.

He/it keeps switching off when it is being used. Pretty well the same as CP's did. It can be at the beginning of cooking or the middle or end. A nuisance as you have to start it up again to get the food out of the bowl. The courier arrived here at 12.05,, just afternoon as they had said. Very efficient. I'm just finishing lunch and off to buy some food.

I have at long last got around to sorting and looking at some thermomix recipes I printed out when I first had my machine. I have re discovered some old favourites. As well as things I no longer need recipes or instructions for.
I am going to copy CP and do contents list and have them bound at Officeworks. I will then start on the second file, and then my recent collection. I have taken all my forum recipes off Snap Recipes and will do this with them.

It's good having a task like that Chookie, we get to see recipes we'd forgotten about.
