Cc did they ever have drive in theatres in the UK I would think they would not be viable with your climate.

Some days we are just not meant to sleep properly or cook Kimmy, the joys of being a Mum  ;D

Love the nappy cake Jamberie, we never had baby showers in my day.  In fact even my DD didn't have one when her babies were in the oven.

Ah, the old drive in theatre and the things we used to get up to :-))  I loved the one in Darwin when I was past that courting stage, they pull out beach chairs and sit outside the car up there.  It's wonderful and sure beats sitting in a cramped car.

Good to hear our WA girls are both safely home after a lovely break.  Visiting Chookie & Ral is a wonderful experience CP, plenty of us have done it so know exactly why it was the highlight of your trip.

I love going to other people's baby showers, but don't really like the fuss for myself! My DD was premmie so my friend decided I needed to have an early shower with #2 to compensate! It was really just a lovely, relaxing afternoon tea :)

Oh no Kimmy! I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

Just catching up. So much going on.
It is always a pleasure to have Forum friends at Cherokee. We really are only trying to repay some of the kindness shown to us.
Kimmyh, look after yourself .

Where are you off to Robyn,?  I'm packing the camper for Tassie next Monday,  I've been sewing for my DGD's school concert, I have nine costumes to organise, hopefully the dear children "year 6"  will have sourced a few items for tomorrow's meeting.

Trying to clean up for visitors but gave up in the end; its messy but clean and food is cooked. Made a pumpkin and cashew dip from that other site to take out for supper.

Finally got last years books to the accountant, a weight off.  I won't need to spend wakeful hours worrying about that now. No doubt I'll think up something else!
Poor you Kimmy, it often seems whn something goes wrong it keeps happening. Big hugs X
Jam that cake looks wonderful.  Think I can guess what you are having. Hope baby doesn't come too early for you.

Hello Forum! Checking in for a wee but whilst waiting for DS10 to finish futsal training.

CP and Chookie, such fun 😃

Cookie, Canberra sounds lovely. We got a chance to do a 1-day whirlwind visit in Jan. More interesting than I expected 😄

Jam, a baby shower! Nice 😘

AB I am jealous. That will be really lovely.
Do you get to Brisbane very often Robyn?

It's only 8 am here so nothing much done. DH has just gone off to car club so I am all by myself. First on the list is a coffee and sit down with the paper. I love dawdling over the morning paper. I will probably do the food shopping this morning. Have a lovely day everyone.

Yesterday I put about 30 new cook books in my Eatyourbooks library. Then had to re sort book shelves. Still unable to give any cookbooks away. Think I have some sort of unidentifiable disease.
Friend gave me nice surprise yesterday. Cooking for you and me, with chip.
Ral gets new tractor today.  Both excited so went out for dinner last night. I had rabbit pie and Ral had Pork Belly, not as good as Judy cooks.
I have ordered a skip to put rubbish in as we had to make room for tractor.

AB, I believe Easter time is beautiful in Tassie. Have fun.

You'll have to post a picture of your new tractor Chookie.  When you find out the name of that unidentifiable disease, please let us know as there are quite a few of us who have the same problem  ;D
