Today Katj and I attended a cooking class with Nikki and Nerissa. It was great.

Yeah Cookie, the cooking class with Nikki and Nerissa was great!
The food was all delicious and I felt very full when we left...lucky I dragged myself off to an exercise class after I got home, hopefully worked off a few of the extra calories from the lovely cake, soup, mains and dessert.
Well done once again to Nikki & Nerissa at Cooking on Coventry.

Cooking class sounds great fun.
Cookie, not surprised that you are straight into bread making.
Wonder, not so much work.  If things are planted very close together the weeds don't grow. Beds need to be well fertilised so every thing get a good feed.  This is where the litter fron the chooks comes in handy.
I will now be able to dedicate a whole bed to asparagus, and another to Strawberries.

Wow Chookie, I am envious of both the vege garden and the snow.
And Cookie and Katj , envious of your cooking class. I will get there one day.
We have a dear little baby ATM, 3 weeks old.  Poor Mum.

You're an angel Denise, lucky little baby to have you to care for him/her.  Do you still have the other little boy?

Glad the class went well Cookie and Katj; I was disappointed to miss it but there will be others. I feel for the mother Bedland missing out on her baby for whatever reason but I hope she knows it is in very good and loving hands.

Not much being done here at the moment as I am trying to finish a quilt and it is a pain in the neck; really that is, I can only sit for 5 or 10 minutes and then the neck starts; must be bad posture.

I know most think I'm crazy but I honestly see it as a privilege.  Especially one so young. Ok, unsettled in the middle of the night I can do without but generally it really is precious.
