I went out early and bought my fruit and Vegies for Christmas. Tomorrow morning I will go out early and do my normal grocery shopping.

Seems everyone is busy Christmas shopping and cooking. It has rained all day here and not let up at all. Put a bit of a damper on the gardening I was going to do. At least the new turf is getting a good water. Apparently we will be in for a wet Christmas day as well. At least the the temps will be nice and mild as well.

How lovely to have a wet Christmas Day. I don't remember too many of those. It beats heat and storms.

Sounds good to me too.  We may have rain during the afternoon on Christmas day.  Our local shops were pretty quiet  today but tomorrow is seniors discount day so it's going to be very busy for the next 2 days. Hopefully I won't need to go anywhere near a shop.

How did your hamper goodie tasks go today Sarah?

Love fresh raspberries.
Today the boys and I went to a farm and picked blueberries and strawberries. The car smells really nice now. Love summer fruits.

The shops were busy very early this morning, glad I got my shopping done.
It's a great idea getting your boys out picking berries Kimmy. Not a lot of kids get to experience that.

Am up early as I've been called into work. Someone must have wanted the day off or rang in sick.

Morning all.
Spent all yesterday in Melb and came home exhausted. Delivered Cherries which I thought people might have thought strange, but fortunately they loved them.
Had hair trim, visited Readings, Doctor, Chemist and didn't have time for lunch.  The traffic was awful. Bought a Fruit Mince Tart from Bakers Delight to eat in car for lunch, and I must say it was very nice.
Weather has been kind but warming up.

A busy day Chookie. I had a Bakers' Delight fruit mince tart the other day. It was quite nice. I occasionally buy a sugar free Apricot and Date thing after shopping. They aren't making any until after the rush so the lass suggested a fruit mince tart. Of course I said yes.

I popped down and did my grocery shopping about 7.30. It was lovely and quiet. Today I will do jellies, cook potatoes, eggs etc all ready to do the salads tomorrow. I've just put some bread on as we had run out......again. I think I will make a stollen this afternoon. I haven't done one for ages.

I couldn't even read what I wrote, sorry. Damn iPad.

DH and I both woke too early (4am). Got up and had breakfast and read the paper. We went for a walk before the heat set in. DH left torch work at 6.45 so I got busy, made a batch of yoghurt, bread and an Egg & Chickpea salad for tonight's dinner. (It would be nice if we didn't have regular meals to prepare leading up to Christmas Day).
I have made Coffee Icecream for DH and another frozen Raw raspberry slice.
I am going to take a break then make a Mexican Quinoa salad and like you Cookie, cook some spuds for a potato salad to be made tomorrow.
