Love seeing all the caravan photos - these modern new 'vans are so smart and compact - I could ALMOST be jealous, but I love our home out in the country too much and love having space around me so I will be envious of you caravanners from a distance.

Looks good Michele. Unfortunately our caravanning days are over although I must admit that Ral and I look with envy at these modern vans.

Mich I really love your van. It is very similar to the one we sold. I really like the 'wood' colour in yours. We couldn't have that in ours as they had phased it out, meanies!
I'm jealous of you in a big way!  Have great fun. We hope to head off when school goes back.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Our van is 8 years old so wood veneer was alive and well.

Went to Tamworth today. It was very hot at 41.
Went to the golden guitar, wax museum and Sir Donald Bradman memorabilia section there. Unfortunately a few places we would have liked to have gone were closed.
They have lots of guitars on the wall too from Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Slim Dusty etc. The one I've photographed is Kenny Rogers.

I took my car in for a service today. They are fixed price at $180 for the first 3 years. Then DH will do them.

DH & I stayed in Tamworth way back in the early 90's Michele, I loved it there but it was freezing in our camper van.  Luckily we took our fan heater as did the people in the tent next to us!

This week I've been putting together this little succulent garden, bought a few more things at Bunnings today but I couldn't find a piece of wall art that would fit in my car so will try a local nursery.  They might have something suitable.  I love the little bicycle but it doesn't really stand out, perhaps I should paint it a bright colour.  Something to look at now through my kitchen window.

That is gorgeous Judy. DH loves succulents and we have quite the garden full.
As hot as it has been today 41, at night the temps drop. I woke up very cold this morning. Wearing a cardigan.
