I’ve just spent an hour or so in the back garden then it rained some more so good timing.

I hope your Dad enjoyed his 90th Robyn.

Happy 90th to your Dad Robyn.

Mich what lousy luck. Caravan repairs take an eternity. In fact they are notorious for it. Then they keep it for ages. Friends have had their van in for warranty repairs for several months now. DH fixes the minor things for us, but of course hail damage is major. There are several Facebook sites solely for discussion on the poor performance of van manufacturers etc. very sad really as they are far from cheap.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Yeah, it is a long time but they are hopeful to move us up to early May. Luckily we can still use the van, so no big deal. If it goes in in May/June it's over the winter period when we are less likely to go away. If we do go away then it's a nice motel room. There is always a silver linning  ;D

I'm rearranging my sewing room today.  I want to put the spare bed in there so I can move out when DH is snoring. ;D ;D

Great idea Margaret, a decent night’s sleep is essential.
It sounds as if the caravan industry needs to lift its game girls or is a normal panel beater who repairs hail damaged caravans? I imagine they would be very busy after such a damaging hail storm with all the cars.

Belated best wishes to your dad Robyn.
Oh no Michele. Hope they do a good job if you have to wait that long.
Lol Mab. I have thought of doing that but we have no spare rooms.
Today I have been trying to decide if I should eat the black bread I baked yesterday. To date, I've had trouble with the loaf sticking to tins so this time I lined the tin with baking paper. The pic shows what happened. The paper is supposed to be fine up to 220 degrees, I had the oven set to 200 degrees. I have complained to the company involved. They were very nice but could not tell me what I wanted to know. They told me to stop using the product and are sending me a gift voucher. They also assured me that the bread is safe to eat. However the paper has a nasty smell so I'm not so sure. Now that I have reread this, I think I'll throw away the bread  :'( :'( :'(

Gayle have you tried cake release on your bread tin - it’s excellent stuff.

What a pain Gayle. I'm lucky my bread tins don't even need greasing.

Djinni, what brand was that baking paper?
Obbie, congrats to your Dad for his 90 th.

Barwon Heads is a real holiday town and yesterday we attended their Farmers Market. It was great. We then went for coffee and it was nearly impossible to park. Ral has this charmed trick of usually parking outside exactly where we want to go. It happened twice yesterday.

My tins are usually fine too Cookie. It's just this bread. Maybe because it's very heavy, mostly rye, has no oil and is in the tin for nearly 4 hours. Going to try cake release today. Wish me luck.

Here in Sydney we consider that the work of the parking fairy. She obviously likes Ral  ;D
The paper was Multix Bake Chookie.

More tidying in the sewing room.  It's very hard to find places for things when you have thrown out a cupboard.  :-))  The local op shop will do very well this week.
