Thanks CC. Bit twitchy about spots and lumps at the moment. Good friend has had 2 operations in a week for throat / neck cancer.
Creswick Farmers Market today.  Won’t be many there as the weather will be bad.

Giving serious thought to lighting the first fire of the season and curling up in front of it with a good book.

We lit the fire yesterday and had the heaters going , too cold . Was great , thought DH was mad but he made the right move . Knitted and watched a movie with DH and DS , a bit of a laugh goes a long way .

Marina and KAtie, yes it was cold.  Loved it.
Had lunch in Daylesford, drove through forest and were surprised that there were no trees down.
Baking today.   Will be giving the TMX a good work out.

I’ve been feeling the radar for the last ey hours or so. Yesterday we went to Dwellingup for my brother’s birthday, came home, changed my clothes and went straight to the football. Then this morning we had to leave at 7.30 am to do a car run. It was a beautiful day and the run was down the beaches to Fremantle, down The cappuccino Strip there ( lots of horn tooting and photographs), then along the river for quite a way, then our. Eating and lunch beside the river. It was lovely.

This afternoon the special Model A car examiner came round and checked over the latest restoration. He passed it for licensing, so DH will go and do it tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to a few days at a slower pace, I can’t keep up the speedy days any more.

You have certainly been busy over the weekend, Cookie.

I was trying to envisage going for a pleasant Sunday drive in one of your old cars (NO HEATER!!!), but then remembered where you live and realised that you would not need the heater ... however, air con would be nice in the hot weather!

You certainly have been busy Cookie. Pleased for DH that his latest restoration has been approved.
Expecting more rain today.  Looks like house work and a little more cooking.

GS stayed overnight to spend the day with us. We will take him home later as he starts school tomorrow after the Easter holidays. Always lots of board games played when he is with us and he enjoys taking Chance for his afternoon walk.

It sounds  like lots of fun CC.

The air con in the old cars is to open the windscreen ( it flaps out) and put a couple of cold cans in the gap. It isn't much use though.

CC, enjoy GS.  They grow up so quickly.
Cookie , you make me laugh.
I’ve spent a great deal of today talking to the people at Laucke.   Safeway/ Woolworths tried to withdraw Laucke products.  CWA said they would boycott their stores if the did that. They still carry some of Laucke products.
They were particually helpful.  I wanted to know the gluten % in their different flours.

Our Woolworths only carries small Laucke bread mixes. Fortunately there is a Coles a couple of shops up and I buy my big bags there.

The Laucke people suggested asking IGA.   They said they will order in if requested.

Had my hair cut this morning.  Then went shopping for a doona for DS bed.

It's a gorgeous day here today ... just did all my monthly accounts sitting outside enjoying the warm, perfectly calm autumn day and listening to the birds chattering away in the background whilst I shuffled my papers around, trying to drag the job out as long as I could!
