Thanks girls for the compliments. :-*

Wow.  How neat is that.  What fabric ?  You are onevery talented lady CC.
I think the fabric is some kind of linen Chookie. It was given to me by a friend to make the lampshade.

Thanks CC.
Our new Chooks have started to lay.  Will let them all out for a run and peck today.
More gardening. Pulling out some dead Lavender that didn’t survive the very dry Summer.
Got a Kangaroo Apple plant at the Swap yesterday. Can make chutney out of the fruit when it is very ripe. Planting Broard Beans and climbing Peas.
Baking Bread into cold oven.

So nice here that I worked out in the garden for a while potting up succulents from my wheelbarrow which I now want to fill with colourful annuals for winter.  Will call into the nursery to see what they have.

Just back from our chamber music festival ... knackered!! (am I allowed to say that?).  The festival was great, as usual, we really enjoyed it.  Still got dinner with our friend tonight before I crash for the night.  Catching up on a bit of work just now .... well, I haven't really started any work yet, I'm procrastinating like crazy, but I will have to get started on it soon.

I think a lot of us become knackered at times Marina, I use that word quite a lot!
Oops I forgot to call into the nursery in my haste to get home this afternoon. Must write myself a note for tomorrow LOL.

I have been slowly going through the house and thoroughly cleaning each room.  I am on the last room today, the sewing room, a big job.  I am decluttering as I go which is taking some time.

Margaret I SO need to do that. Our theatre room (which we used to use as a lounge) has become the absolute junk room. DD makes a lot of technics lego (totally different to work!) and the finished products are in there, a lot of Model A books are in there, some magazines that I need to go through and sort, the treadmill ( I will leave that there) a couple of recliner rockers that have stuff on them etc etc. It won't take that long to do but I need to make the start.

This morning I have done the ironing and dmade some yoghurt. Wash the floor and some cup cakes this afternoon. Then I will be knackered too. It is such a lovely adjective.

It's making a start that's the hard part Cookie then, once started, you wonder what the delay was!

Yes (obviously) I like the word knackered - it covers a whole range of moods and conditions.

Yes , I was knackered also. ;D  Yesterday I gardened, did the washing, made a loaf of bread, made protein balls and roasted seeds in Tamari sauce.  As well as booked 3 meals.   ( also love that word but hate to think what it really means)

Had a busy day with visitors at the nursing home, onto Costco for petrol and stuff for DH, into an op shop to buy some vases for the nursing home (they are always looking for them for Mothers Day) then way up to the north eastern suburbs to meet a friend for dinner.  Peak hour traffic is something I try to avoid, it was terrible but I had a much better run home later in the evening.

Cookie, enjoy your shopping.   I gave a friend your Classic bread recipe and she loves it.  Makes it by hand as she doesn’t have a TMX.
Judy you are busy.
