Judy, Valet car cleaning sounds like a real luxury. Go for it.
Our hot water bill,( gas) doubles in the winter.  It is because the water runs a long way through cold pipes. Today we looked at an independent hot tap to install. As well as buying the machine, we would need the cabinet maker, electrician and plumber. Will have to think about this.

We have a gas hot water system too, its a storage tank one. If we have to replace it will probably go with instantaneous.
Valet car cleaner sounds pretty good Judy.
This morning DH and I went down to Rockingham to pick up his brother's 4 x 4. His partner can't sell it and no one is helping so DH has taken it on. It has been sitting out in the weather for some time as DH's brother wasn't allowed to drive for about 4 years before he died. It's a pretty old vehicle but DH said he should be able to get a few $$$$ after he cleans it up and sorts it out. Every little helps. It will keep DH out of mischief as he said he isn't doing any more Model A cars; but then he is looking at others. ;D ;D ;D ;D

The car cleaner and window cleaner are 2 luxuries I allow myself, I hate doing both jobs and to me it is worth every cent having it done so beautifully by others. I had a storage tank HWS too cookie and I’m hoping the instant model will save me a bit on gas.
I’m sure DH will have that car very presentable in no time, a nice little project to keep him occupied for a week or two.
We have those instant hot water taps at the nursing home Chookie, boiling water on tap in different areas is great but of course expensive to install.

I usually go shopping Wednesdays but hung around this morning for a couple of parcels DD was expecting. I have now done the ironing and will go shopping when DH gets home from Car Club. It's been pouring all morning so I don't mind waiting.

I've been into London to collect GS from school. DD was at a seminar and didn't know what time it ended. Used the train to go and come home. Coming home at peak commuter time is difficult as all carriages are packed. Being warm weather it's hot and stuffy. Home now, feet up, enjoying a cuppa.

CC, you are very brave.  I hate public transport as it is usually crowded.  I don’t like crowds.

Today we are going to the Apple shop in Melbourne to get Ral a new iPhone.  Probably 8+.  Don’t think he would cope with the new iPhone X.

Then on to Vic Market to thank the people who cooked and organized the Piggy lunch.

I hope you enjoyed the trip to Melbourne Chookie. DH has a very simle phone, all it does is make and receive calls. Also texts, although he can't text. I had a hand me down iphone from DD (she has the X) but I found it wasn't very useful in the bush, so I bought a Samsung that has the blue tick. It is better out of the city.

Didn’t make it to the VIC Market yesterday so going today. It is really nice not having to do all the jobs we normally do when we come to Melbourne. We feel like we are on holiday.

Yesterday there was a Market in the area at the base of the Hotel. Loved it as there were a lot of young people having a go at doing their own thing. I bought several interesting foodie things.  Think I might be able to copy them. Will let you know how I go.
Also bought the most amazing looking SD bread.

We certainly are Judy.  As we were checking out the receptionist said we were entitled to a free Coffee and chocolates.

This is the SD bread that I bought. Seed loaf at front left, front right Olive loaf, back Light Rye and Caraway seed.

Judy, the Rye and Caraway is about the same as mine in texture and taste. The bought one cost $8, mine$2.
CC,  the China is Wedgewood. Nice.
DD returning from Tassie today so I am making soup for her .
