I’ve just been listening to Dan Andrews speak. It is quite frightening for Victoria. I do hope they can reduce the number of Covid 19 cases caught in the community. It must be so hard for everyone. Perhaps the curfew will help.
Stay strong Chookie, KAtie, Marina and Mab and everyone one else.

Thank you Cookie , we are in limbo at the moment, not knowing what is happening for kids it’s really hard . Thought yesterday was a bit surreal with DS playing hockey on such a beautiful sunny day , everyone out and about ( we sat in the car and kept to ourselves) .
Kids are waiting to hear from school , seems that will be tomorrow now .

We will continue to do what we have been doing since March.  Poor senior kids.  learning from home again.
Have been discussing with friends what we would like to do most when this is over. Picnic in the park with friends,  big birthday party for all who have missed out, a holiday up the coast , a couple of days in a nice hotel in a Melbourne. Friends for Dinner.  Cuddles with GC.
We are waiting for the Solar man to wire us up.

All those things sound wonderful Chookie. We have had some lovely 20 degree sunny days and DH and I have been going on walks around the neighbourhood. There is a great walking track around the lake but it is hard to maintain social distancing. We are enjoying looking at peoples gardens and the home improvements that are taking place.

I went to the bank this morning to deposit a cheque, all masked up.  Wasn't allowed in, only 12 customers at once.  Went off to our other bank and no one inside so deposited the cheque there.   As I walked past a rather large cafe they had a limit of 80 customers.  No way would I have gone in there.  Everyone seems to have different limits on customers.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

After 13 years of school, GD finished today.  Not a nice way to end school life. Of course there will be remote learning.
Today prepared cumquats for jam tomorrow.
Made Tahini biscuits and pumpkin soup. Also made Pea and ham soup.

I really feel for the final year kids. Stay strong everyone.

We had an impromptu Model A party here today. Three different Model A friends came round. All totally unexpected. They sat inside and chatted as it was freezing. We had a maximum of 12.  Nearly Ballarat weather. 😀😀😀😀

Ha! Cookie.  That is a heat wave here.  This morning it was -1 at 7 am with snow flurries. Max of 8 today.  Doubt that it will reach that. How nice to sit around with friends and have a cuppa.
Marina, are you ok.?

Chookie I have decided that I couldn't live with the cold you get. Brrrr
We had a coffee run this morning with one of the car club groups. The café we go too had 2 large bookings so they put us outside. Brrr.

K ATIE, poor kids.  Who knows what will happen.
Very cold again today.
Solar installation completed.  They are now testing so we can read on our iPhones and iPads how much sun we are capturing and what we are using.
Shocking COVID numbers again for Victoria.

DH received a phone call from the GP today. His breath test came back positive for helicobacter pylori. It’s a bacterial infection of the gut.  Two doctors here received the Nobel prize for discovering this a few years ago. He will begin treatment tomorrow-it’s only 2 lots of antibiotics combined with an antacid. He is very relieved as his Dad had stomach cancer.

Apart from all that excitement I did the grocery shopping.

Well I packed and labeled a sheep for the freezer today , two tooth or 18 months . We had leg lamb roast tonight . Not to bad it only really filled a shelf and a half . Unfortunately no four quarter roast . But loin chops ,shanks , bbq chops chump . Also mince a lot of mince 61/2 kilos . MIL got a leg roast and some chops and two shanks also I packed her some mince . Tasty dinner and a lot for cold meat toasties.
