Cookie, thanks again for the lovely photos.  We are again enjoying your holiday.
Today we are buying another freezer. The current one isn’t freezing.  The service people can’t come for 3 weeks.
We are also having a friend for lunch.

We tried buying a freezer a couple of months ago but there were none (of the size we wanted) available.  Your post has reminded me to start looking again.

We were desperate and just compromised with our stand up freezer , the door opens away from the kitchen . But is so great to have . I love The Good Guys but we got ours from Harvey Norman as it was local enough our worker picked it up in the Ute !!

Cookie, thanks for the lovely photos.

I'm spending the next couple of days sewing, making scrub tops for my GD in Qld.

Mab, you are such a good Grannie.
We bought a Westinghouse upright freezer. It has 3 large drawers and adjustable shelves.  It is replacing a Fisher Paykel which had 6 drawers, which I prefer.  However this one had a better energy rating and was a bit bigger.  We paid$75 to have it installed and the old one removed.

Snap Chookie same as us . It’s great , would have liked another draw but it has been fine . Ours has a ice maker , but not a plumed  in one .
Rather warm today.

Today we left Peaceful Bay and headed back to the city. We had lunch at Greenbushes, a tiny town that was a tin mine and also grew tobacco. Then onto Donnybrook. An area known for Apple growing.
Some of the lovely tall timber, and the little lake we had lunch beside.

Cookie, thanks again for the lovely photos.
I finally got around to finishing typing up  the recipe for the  soft and light  Brioche Buns. On my Bog. I’ll try posting it on the Forum.  I have to say that I prefer it to the traditional Brioche which is loaded with butter and eggs.

A pleasure ladies. Yes JulieO it was all very peaceful and very quiet in the places we stayed. Last night we stopped in Donnybrook. They grow heaps of apples there and stone fruit. I managed to pick up some cherries and nectarines as we left this morning.

Not until school goes back next year Judy. I'd like to go back to Peaceful Bay again and try for fish. One of the locals was saying that in the summer they need to go inside of an evening as it gets so cold. I think I would like that.
Lovely to see that your lock down has been reduced. I wouldn't like to be the man that lied.
