DD and DH have just got back from their walk. (With masks on) DD took a photo of all of the helicopters.

If only you had the rain we’ve had this afternoon and what’s due tomorrow cookie, it would be a great help with the fires.  Busy little bees those helicopters.

Cookie, thanks for the fire update.  Those helicopters do a great job, as do the teams on the ground who service them.

They certainly put in a big day.
DD’s friends, who don’t usually need to wear masks, were saying that their ears are getting very sore. DH checked Mr Google and today he made about 25 ‘things’ that you can hook the mask too. He has been sewing buttons on all day. The material is slightly stretchy upholstery fabric.

Mr Cookie is very cleaver.
Last night we went to a school welcome drinks , amazing to catch up with a few people, everyone was happy to see each other.
DH DS DMIL all went to Ballarat to return hire car and collect DMIL car ! Been along time . DD and I went to our local town art gallery for an exhibition. DD now getting ready to go to a friends for the night and out to dinner. Boys might get home and harvest !!

I will pass your kind words on to DH. I think he was bored as he couldn’t go out car fixing/sharing etc. he is very capable though.
Today DD and I dashed out. Not a lot of people out and about though. I can’t say I like driving with a mask on, I feel as though I can’t see properly. I guess I would soon get used to it. A good reason to stay home. 😄😄

It is raining here now. 5.30pm. It’s the last hurrah for the tropical low. The fire was downgraded to a watch and act late this morning and we have had no more Covid cases. I’m sure the firies will be cheering. They have worked so hard-as any do when there are horrid fires.

Neighbour came to look at our Security gate and said he can fix it.
More weed killing.
Will strain first lot of Savoury Rosemary jelly.

Picked DD up and returned DS to boardo . DD is already missing DS already , this year is going to be fun . Cold today .

Cleaning up kitchen.  Seems to be continually in a mess with all the jam/ sauce making.

We went to scholars Assembly today , DD received an award for achievement , Very proud parents! Lots of driving teens around ! Home DD went and helped prepare the veg for shearer’s dinner then moved sheep with DH .

Thought I would experiment and make some savoury Rosemary jelly.  What a disaster.  Made toffee instead.  This might sound ok but it set in the jars.

LOL Chookie.  I’ve had plenty of disasters in the kitchen lately, a second lot of soup went down the drain today. 

I had 2 old security doors replaced today, I love them and I don’t know how many times I went to look at them again. That’s the last job I had on the list for my total makeover, I became a little sidetracked in the last 6 months or so.
