We met up with a heap of friends for coffee. Only one couple were brave enough to take their old car. It is very wet and windy here at the moment. Then this afternoon a dear friend called round. He often does since he lost his wife.

Your rough weather has come over here cookie, not too bad yet where I live.
Today I took a friend to see a doco/movie The Boy from the Bush (Lee Kernaghan), we’re both country music lovers and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me want to move to the country!

Yesterday we did sheep field day started off wet cold windy . But not too bad later on . Great to catch up with people , looked at a lot of sites some woman things too. DS caught up with his friends they all moved around together . Friends asked us out to dinner , would have been nice but we were cold tiered and didn’t want to wait hour or so to go out . Both of us were so pleased to be home early night needed . Today I went to MILs with DH and we cleaned DH vacuumed her place as she was having a few sewing friends call in to sit and sew . It’s really hard to watch her decline but we are encouraging positive actions .

Supermarket shopping this morning, then we took the car in to have it cleaned and a cut and polish.

They do come up beautifully Margaret.
I haven't done much today but my new handyman and his offsider tackled my very long list of various sized jobs for 3 hours, so pleased with their work. Couple of garden jobs left for them to tackle next week.

We had friends visit for afternoon tea.  We haven't seen them for nearly two years so we had a lot to catch up on.

I cleaned and sorted out the freezer today.  I found a container without a label, it turned out to be frozen stewed strawberries that still looked edible.  We will have them tonight for dessert with custard.

DH’s car had to go in for a warranty service this morning. I then had an appointment at the lass that does my eyebrows etc for me, followed by the podiatrist. We were supposed to have the dentist this afternoon but he was ill.

This morning I ventured out in the freezing cold and pouring rain to get my mammogram. Not the weather we are used to.

So nice to see what all my Forum friends are up to.
Last night we took DD to look at a house we would love to buy. The owners are about to go into a big advertising campaign, and although we didn’t want to buy before we sell we made an offer. Fingers crossed to it is accepted.

Nail biting times, Chookie, I hope everything works out with selling and buying your new homes.  It is definitely a level of stress you could do without just now.  I am not sure that crossing my fingers will be any help to you, but I am crossing them anyway.

The house must be just what you want Chookie, it has to be special if you’ve put an offer in at this stage. Wishing you good luck with your offer.
