You and Ral have achieved so much so quickly, Chookie,  Downsizing is such a huge and, often, heart-wrenching challenge; I don't envy you but you have come through and everything will start to settle down once you move.  Was that Ral's last ride on mower run for now?  Will you need it in your new home?

Scammers are the scum of the earth.  You are right, you can tell them a mile off, but some are really good.  I was caught out once so I am even more aware than I was before.

Supermarket shopping this morning then I had my hair cut this afternoon.

DD and I went shopping. The place we usually have coffee has lost its manager and a key worker. It’s utter chaos at the moment and very slow. Sad.

Quick trip for DH and I , drs appointment . Saw DD more driving . DH gave DD a few driving parking , 3 point turns lesson . Numerous trips to Lune the most amazing Croissant shop ! DH and I stopped in Ballarat yesterday to collect his new phone ... old one even the Microphone would only work on speaker ! Went to big w to get novels complete disaster ! Home DS had been picked up by his DUncle in his new Ram .. it’s enormous boys . Trying to get DH to take it easy at the moment. Forgot DS has a four day holiday ... no food shopping done eeek . Maybe he can live off Lune Croissants 🥐. We got him the birthday cake , just because! Lemon curd Cruffian shared for breakfast. Still a cherry ripe one to go ! They are so rich all are not eaten in one go .

I think I may have been  hacked so if anyone gets any strange contacts from me please ignore and dump them, especially if there are attachments or links ... DO NOT OPEN THEM.

Thanks for the warning Marina. I hope the hacking doesn’t inconvenience you too much, how does one know you’ve been hacked?

Today I’ve potted up and hung 8 hanging baskets after a friend gave me some baskets. They needed liners and hanging hooks but I have enough in my garden to be able to supply my own plants. At my age I shouldn’t be creating more work for myself, it’s just extra watering though so I should be able to handle that.

Marina that’s horrid. About 10 days ago I cut lots off my dragon fruit and left them to dry. This afternoon I planted about 10 in pots and I have 3 inside, trying to root them in water. I’ve watched lots of you tube so hopefully I will get a couple of new plants. Last year we just stuck a bit in the ground and it grew. I’d love some fruit this year so I have my fingers crossed.

As I said, I am not entirely sure that I have been hacked ... that is the problem.  I am basing my supposition on the fact that I have lost some files (c. 50 or thereabouts) ... but hacking does seem unlikely as the files missing are all my recipes from 2021 and 2022!!!  Very strange.  If, indeed, I have been hacked I hope the hacker is enjoying vegetarian / vegan TMX cooking!  Nothing other than the recipes appear to be missing.  As I said, very strange! :o

That is weird Marina.
I did the ironing this morning. We have a fairly busy week ahead of us.

Another week gone ! Collected DD from college after her last exam . Two car load trips but only one to go back to the farm . A very long day trip for me , thankfully DD shared some of the driving . We took four hours return that’s a long time . So muddy we had to put work boots on to unload the car. DH DS last night took the fire truck in for inspection and a few minimum skills to do , eg a emergency fire risk they have to get in the back of fire truck and then pull the water over them well over the truck to be safe . Last night I dropped a birthday present to girlfriend and we may of shared a bottle of bubbles , thus the well cooked apricot chicken legs !!

DD requested to have birthday lunch with her uni friends and a driving lesson prior !! Yesterday was big but I was the Chauffeur which was fine . We had a great day but a long one for me . Even went to a rooftop wine bar at sunset , then dropped DD in the city to meet a GF at a hip wine bar called She , i then picked DD up later . Thankfully all before 11pm . Home today .

Had a small eye procedure yesterday, it was nothing serious and I have a superb black eye today!  All is good, though and my eye should be fine by the weekend.

Ha ha no-one will believe your excuse for the black eye (apart from those you work with). Not long to wait for improvement thank goodness.
