I heard about the storms that were round Melbourne. It’s been very hot over here.

I did the washing this morning, we then had visitors and after I had to go out for a hair appointment  .I’ve changed my hair, instead of covering up the grey at the front, the hairdresser has added a lot more through my hair. I’m not sure if I like it. Time will tell.

Strangely enough, we didn't get that storm on our side of town, we didn't even know it had happened until we saw the news in the morning.

Super mad day at work yesterday making sure all bills were paid and everything was OK for our break.  Last minute vege shopping this morning then I am under control (until the next disaster, that is!)

I did the washing this morning and then a general tidy up before visitors arrive.

Set the dinning room table . Cleaned up and looked for all those little dishes spoons etc . Day was busy preparing for tomorrow. Slipped in for Xmas carols ( as MIL can’t be there I had to be the one to represent family , tiny church only about 12 people . Home to wrap presents.

DD has gone out to be the pilot driver so they can move header chaser bin from one property to the next and the ute . Now DS not on the home farm he will need to be picked up , here he drove down the internal laneway to get home .

My brother and his wife came for lunch today. It helped diminish the leftovers a bit.

It’s our 50th wedding anniversary today. A very quiet celebration.

Congrats Cookie and Mr Cookie. Well done. I smiled, teachers holiday wedding .
We have no air/con. No one will come to look at it. Coping so far . DD said come to her home if it gets too hot. Fans doing a good job so far. Had thought of checking into a local hotel but too difficult with Rals medical needs.

Chookie is the aircon a split system one ? The filter may need cleaning . But don’t you get up there please . I dropped our remote down behind the hydronic panel the other day ! Lucky DH managed to prise it out . With them the remotes get low with batteries they are hard to work too.
