That certainly is a huge amount of tests K Atie, nice to get them all out of the way in a couple of days.

Yes Judy and Cookie a lot of tests but all well over due . I have to say I was not happy with the ultra sound as she rushed it and couldn’t find what was there , it was her comment that stirred me up “oh well if too small it doesn’t matter “ I was grumpy . And they where ment to do the bone density scan first , so the person doing that was grumpy white her too . But I put a smile on and had a lovely lunch with some extra special bubbles . Quite tired tonight .

Thank you Cookie so do I . Back in town with DH DS . We had a bit of spare time so took DS shopping for clothes for party on the weekend, DD joined us and helped choose a nice bright blue shirt.  DH had an appointment and then they both had flu injections . I had a foot appointment , so glad to have them done it’s like walking on air now , snuck DS in the appointment to get new orthotics as well bonus  . Then we went out for a meal. Tomorrow is up early for DH , who has a fasting blood test .. his turn now and we need to do lots of presents shopping 18ths and a baby one . Gosh I feel drained trying to work it all smoothly but pleased that it’s working out . We are fine by the way it’s all fine just check ups . Mind you if these flu injections have any after effects it will be 3 people feeling off.

We went to Subiaco this morning. DH promised me a piece of bling for our 50th wedding anniversary in December. We eventually went to select it this morning. I wanted a pink diamond in it as I love them and the mine has been closed for a while. I selected a piece with 2 pink ones in and you can pretty well see them without a magnifying glass (just) I love it. As I have fat, fat fingers it is being resized.

We are booked to have our flu needles on Thursday afternoon.

On Sunday we had a car run to Mandurah to see some of the giants. They are rather impressive. https://visitmandurah.com/giants-of-mandurah/

Love the giants, some people are very clever.

DH and I both had blood tests this morning.  Then we both had a podietarist appointment.  Supermarket shopping this afternoon.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Got my bloods done last week and dr. rang with results before 9.00 am this morning - all " very good" - that was a relief, as I had been dreading them since it has been so long since my last ones.  Very happy!

Treated myself to a pedicure.

It’s lovely when you have the doctor saying everything is ok.

I did my grocery shopping this morning.

Congrats Cookie on your Wedding Anniversary. Lovely gift. Worth waiting for.
I’ve had a very serious scam on my Master Card. It’s the second one. I’m thinking of not having a credit card at all. Yesterday I spent hours on the phone and only got some useful help when I said I would close the account and go to another bank.
DD helped me remove the last of my goods from Storage. Now only have to sort through the stuff in the garage.
New Coffee pod machine broke down. Got a pod stuck. Fortunately DS was staying and Amazon agreed to replace it. Getting a different model.
Friday was a disaster. I have a scaffold across the front of the house. It was placed there to install outside blinds. When the blind was put up, a fault in the fabric was detected. They have ordered more fabric. Has to come from OS.
On Friday also, a Crim Safe door was fitted. A serious scratch was found in the frame. Again, this has to be replaced.
I had work men here most of the day. I made sausage rolls ( about 100) which they enjoyed, with plenty for GS.

Chookie sorry to hear about your card ,blinds ,security door and coffee pod machine . Lucky you are on to all of it now . That’s more than three things . Bonus clearing out the storage , in fact think you are doing an amazing job . Sausage rolls might have to make some for DS he will gobble them up too .

Lousy luck Chookie. After DD had her everyday debit card skimmed she will only pay in cash. She has had her credit card hacked a couple of times too. From what I hear it's happening so much more frequently now. Awful.

Chookie the workman will remember your sausage rolls and be queueing up to help you.

DH had a friend from Nasho Fair Go call round this morning. Some ex nashos are marching on Anzac Day. DH refuses to so is lending his medals to this friend.

Sorry to hear you’ve had so many problems Chookie, after what you’ve been through you don’t need all this. Lucky to have a DS who spends time with you and can help when needed. I hope you get back the money scammed.  Keep cooking those sausage rolls, you’re going to have more workmen out to replace the blind and security door and you’ll want to feed them.

Marina, it’s great to get the all clear on blood tests. My GP said he would ring if there was a problem and I haven’t heard from him so I trust all is fine but I won’t be surprised at my May appointment if, when I ask about the results, he reads the report for the first time.

Things seemed to have turned around for the good today. 2 tradies came and fitted a wind sensor to the blinds. It turned out to be an updated model. It will automatically send the blinds down at 8 am and up at 8 pm? I think. While here a nice young man saw that I was having trouble sliding the indoor curtains across. He went around the house and sprayed silicone on all the tracts. The other nice young man noticed that the heated towel rail in the bathroom hadn’t been activated. While I’m typing this, the replacement coffee machine has arrived. Yah. The tradies enjoyed the butter and marmalade muffins. All good.
