It is always a shock to come back to a cold winter's day after being in a lovely hot climate, K Atie, at least it sounds like you have got good heating in your home.

We were frozen the first night . Not great heating but nothing like a fire and two of my mums had made quilts and electric blanket ! Drying all the washing and DS doing homework .

We had friends call in this morning. It was lovely. They are off soon to do the Canning Stock Route. 997 sandhills to go up and down.

Three lots of unexpected visitors today.  It certainly threw my days plans into chaos.

Yes it has been very cold. A very white frost for 2 mornings but followed by sunny days. At the moment, ( 6.30 am )  it’s -3. At 9am will still be -1. I’m still experimenting with the heating. gas ducted. Got the gas bill, it wasn’t much more than the previous one  People are rugged up and walking in the mornings but not many at night.
I’m minding the 2 boys from next door, after school. I made Trudy’s muffins for them but they were more interested in playing board games.

Chookie not sure the Thai Chi would have warmed you up , but the focusing on Thai Chi might have helped . We managed to do a little more driving yesterday. Caught up with a zoom bookclub in person , so nice . Off to dentist for DS today .

Saw DD fir a quick moment. On the road DS did his VisCom work on computer while I drove . DH met up with us and looked like divorced couple ! DS hopped into DH car and off they went to boarding house while I did a shot drive home . Today I’m rather tiered . Quick trip in to see DH DM for her birthday! The place made a huge rectangle cake with jam and cream . The kindergarten kids came in too and sang HB to her .

That’s lovely KAtie.
A friend gave us a cheque for some money he owed us. I had to go to the bank to put it in our account. Gosh they have changed. One teller on and I waited about 30 minutes.

A fairly quiet, normal Sunday.
