Yes I noticed the price of lambs was way down KAtie. Not good at all for you.
DD and I had coffee this morning, then with only a little encouragement from her I had a spending spree at a Black Pepper shop. I’ve always loved their clothes and they seem to last for ever. I bought a pair of jeans, a 3/4 pair of jeans , a jacket and two tops.

Lots of laughs this morning. DS made Baby Dutch pancake it was huge and raised very well . DH had his morning presents for Father’s Day Haigs chocolate coated nuts and Shil baby pruning saw battery operated. We tested it out one powerful toy . DS played his last hockey game for school . They just missed out on grand finals .

That’s rotten luck for them KAtie.
I’ve done some housework this morning and will do some more in a bit.

I'm going in to hospital tomorrow to have my oesophagus stretched.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works this time round, time will tell.

Thanks you everyone.
It was a long day yesterday.  The procedure itself only took about 30 mins the rest of the time was spent filling in forms, answering questions and sitting around in the waiting rooms at the hospital.  My throat, chest and jaw were very sore last night but they are a lot better today.  During the procedure my oesophagas went into spasm which was a good thing as the surgeon could see what was happening.  He also took some biopsies for testing.  I am now back on a soft/liquid diet for a few days.  DIL was wonderful, she took me to the hospital, stayed with me and made sure I was ok with everything that was going on.  She is an absolute treasure.

Mab, have been thinking of you. Lovely to have such a caring DIL.
Yesterday was a day from hell. Car could be driven. Lights flashing and saying no lights and no power steering. I rang Mercedes and they said I would have to have it towed to them. I was expected at Probus for induction. Family and neighbours all away. I rang one of the Probus ladies and she picked me up. Then insisted on driving me to the podiatrist for an appointment. What a treasure. Today car towed and I ‘ borrowed ‘ my DD car.
Cooking while home, another disaster. Think I’ll go to bed early. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Oh Chookie it certainly was a horrid day. I do hope tomorrow is much better.
I spent most of the day on DD’s computer trying to sort stuff out. It is having email dramas so I’ve been trying to change my email at banks etc.
I had fun dealing with AAMI. I was cancelling the insurance on MIL’s house which DH inherited. One moment they were saying ‘sorry for your loss’ and then immediately referring to me as if I was her.  They certainly weren’t listening.

Cookie, some staff at the banks are so hopeless, and others very good.
My hearing aids have been playing up. They are replacing them for free.they are just 1 month still under warranty. I think that makes for 3 annoying things this week. Car, burnt bread and hearing aids.

What a terrible week Chookie, go to bed and don’t surface until next week when things will be better.  Weeks like that make us appreciate all the carefree ones we do have.

I hope you reminded the insurance company that they were not speaking to the deceased person Cookie,

I’ve had a great week going through wardrobe and cupboards (again), putting unwanted items up on our Buy Nothing Group page and meeting some of the locals when they collected their goodies. Have done lots of shredding and still have the filing cupboard to do in that regard, that’s always the final job for me.
