Mab that isn’t fun news. I hope things can get sorted for you.

I had lunch with a dear friend today. I used to work with her. Her husband is in the coronary care unit at the moment. He will be ok, but things haven’t been fun for them. He is 63. I spoke with another good friend yesterday and her DH has spent time in hospital too. He is about the same age. Not fun for any of them.

Had a blood test this morning. Had trouble as usual in getting any.
New project, cleaning out several drawers a day. Did bedroom yesterday and kitchen today.  Very cold again and lots of rain later.

I did my grocery shopping this morning. I bought a new container of Molasses. I read somewhere recently that someone had an unopened one explode, so I decided to just open it.  Well it went everywhere. It just bubbled up and foamed out everywhere. I rang the ‘hotline’ and they said they had had a bad batch, but it was safe to use. I plan to take it back tomorrow.

Cookie, GD had that happen to her, she rang her mum to ask how to get it out of her toaster.  It had dripped down her shelves and into the toaster.  Mum's advice throw out the toaster.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It was a bubbly, gooey mess. I didn’t get to take it back as I hung around most of the day waiting on a phone call.

Yuk, Cookie.
Progressing well with cleaning out drawers. The spice drawer was a challenge. I placed all the little bottles in alphabetical order. Threw out a lot.
Nuts and dried fruit and flour drawers today.

Mab, sorry to read your update, hope things are getting a little easier now.

I had a clean out in my pantry a couple of months ago, Chookie and, like you, threw out a lot of old herbs and spices then split them into two sections - herbs on one side, spices on the other, however, I am thinking that I might put them back into alphabetical order, it seemed easier to find things that way.

I needed to go up to the chemist this morning as I should have done it on Friday. I sneakily bought DH some shirts as it's his birthday on Wednesday. He won't buy shirts for himself and with visiting his friend at the care home and Nasho Fair Go he is going out at least 3 days a week. He is wearing good shirts more than work ones. :D :D :D :D :D

That’s good news Chookie.
I had my second Shingles vaccination today. No reaction so far but it did hurt.

That’s lovely Chookie. I’m sure she will really enjoy it.
We went out with friends for coffee this morning. It was fun, lots of talking.
My arm is very sore from the injection, I can’t stand anything touching it. However it’s a million times better than reactions that make you feel unwell.
