Gee Obbie where did you find him? My DH doesn't even mow the lawns, I do everything around the house including maintenance.

Oh Mich, you only made one mistake today, that was getting up. (my DH said to tell you this after I read him your post).

Kieramax I am very sorry to read about your poor pet, it is so hard. I hope the chocolate helped.

Sorry to hear about your cat kieramax, if she was in pain she would have thanked you I'm sure.

Today we had visitors all afternoon but I made use of the tall husband to do a few jobs around the house for me and they went home with some goodies in appreciation.  I think the favourite was a bottle of my vanilla essence which went down really well.

I don't mind tidying up for the cleaners . For me it is about having the house both clean and tidy for the next few days. I wouldn't feel as good about having the house clean if stuff was still lying around everywhere. It's a wonderful feeling coming home to a clean and tidy house once a fortnight.

Thanks ladies for the kind words.

I have a wonderful partner as well.  He stopped on the way home last night to buy tissues and comfort food, then went with me to the vet, dealt with the kids while I just sat on the couch and this morning has tidied up all the cat's things before I got out of bed.

When I had a cleaner, I use to tidy before he came.  That way he could get to all the jobs I hated.  It was unusual to have a male cleaner but he was fantastic at cleaning.

My cleaner is coming tomorrow. So today is clean up day. Its better to have all floors & surfaces as clear as possible, so she spends her time cleaning not tidying.

Love it when we come home from the gym & the house is clean & fresh smelling.

H :)

Keiramax you had a hard decision to make with your car :(
I worry about my old cat as he's loosing his hearing and in summer he often sleeps under cars. I'm so scared he will be ran over. I really don't want him to die that way, or worse still be injured badly and in lots of pain.
