Thanks Amy that would be great but distance is the killer isn't it
Good luck Hally, it sounds as if it is going to be a challenge.

Sounds like your cup of tea in the bath needs to be replaced with something stronger. Can I suggest a Cointreau on ice?
I applaud you for staying strong and insisting he ate his main meal. I hope you have a quiet week ahead as this weekend sounds like it will be taxing.

Well I've just finished putting away my seventh load of washing for the day. I usually wash one small load a day, but two weeks ago my lovely Miele washing machine decided to spit the dummy and refused to turn on at all.
Had to wait a week for the serviceman to arrive. He plugged his computer into the machine and tried all sorts of things and finally decided the on/off switch was faulty. Of course, he didn't have one with him, so the part had to be ordered and that would take three working days. After waiting a week, I rang them again and was told they would book the call in with the service man, but it would take another 5 days. Grrrrrrrr. Would have thought they could have already arranged that when the part arrived. Serviceman arrived, fitted the new switch and ran some tests and said all was working okay. That evening I started the washing machine and it began filling..........and filling............and filling............ till it flooded out all over the laundry floor. Did you know front loading washing machines flood out the detergent drawer. No I didn't either and really could have done without knowing.
Okay so now I have not only ten days of washing, but a basket of soggy towels from mopping up the floor. (sigh) So, hang the grubby wet towels on the line so they don't go mouldy, and ring Miele again.
"Oh, I'll book the call in, but the first vacancy I have is going to be in 5 days". Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Now I've been without my machine for over 2 weeks and I still don't have a washing machine I can use. So much for buying a top of the line machine.
Serviceman finally arrived today at lunch time. Quick look and he discovered the water level sensor had been knocked out of position. Five minutes and it was fixed and NO CHARGE. So now you know what I've been doing all day LOL.
Oh I did manage to find time to bake an apple pie and make some fudge for the grandchildren (and me haha).

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me today, and we all could probably use more calm in our lives.
Some doctor on TV this morning said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.
So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished.
I have managed to finish off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prungles, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valiuminun scriptins, the res of the chesescke an a box a chocletz.
Yu haf no idr how bludy fablus I feel rite now.
Plaese sned dhis orn to dem yu fee ar in ned ov iennr pisss.
An telum,u blody luvum.!!

Now, that's my idea of self help advice. I just fell off the couch laughing. Ouch! Now, there must be something around here that I've started....
