MF - I dont really have anything to say that the others havent already said - except that I really feel for you and am sending hugs.  I hope it is resolved soon for you.

Another day out in the garden for me today - planting veggie seedlings and mulching.  For over 2 years our garden has been totally ignored while we renovate, and it is really lovely to get out and give it some attention again.

Where did you manage to buy such a big pumpkin Den?  Not that I want to make one but just interested.  Great job.

Coles is selling  them for $2.98 a kilo. You can get templets  on line.

It's a nice day here in Adelaide to be out in the garden Karen, enjoy!

MF I agree with Halex - can't your DH do something?  Perhaps he could be the one to tell her to go, or if not, he should at least be there when you do, so you're not made out to be the "bad guy".  What an awful woman  :-X
I hope it all sorted out quickly for you xx

I'm having an extra day off work this week - so I'm going to spend today shopping and baking. I've got a loaf of sour dough bread on the rise and later will be making banana cake and Chookie's "My Favourite Quiche".

Sorry guys I fell asleep last night so couldn't continue my story.
She is out as my DH gave her an ultimatum that she had to go before we came back from overseas.
She did move out so at least I don't have to see her face first thing every morning however she is still playing the victim even more now!
I have never and will never tell my girls not to see her as she is their aunt but I know from past experiences that she tried to turn her other brothers daughters against their mum. Too much to say on the forum except I can feel that she has driven a wedge between the whole family that I will try to fix.
One funny example of how she behaved was that one night we were sitting on our balcony and she sat next to my DH. She stretched out on him and asked him to touch her feet!!! He was shocked and said' get off 'to which she replied and said "well you touch her feet every night when watching tv". He does massage my feet some nights but certainly wouldn't massage anyone else's. My family laughed when I told them but agreed that it was weird.

I am trying my best to work through this but still can't understand her behavior. She is not happy just being the auntie but wants to take over my role with all of them. Maybe it's because she is single and has never lived closely  in a family? All I know is she wants to be the number 1 with everyone and doesn't care who she hurts.

Thanks for listening everyone and for all your words of support. As I say I have barely touched on her antics but would need to write a book to convey everything that she did. :(

At least she is out of you face (so much) MF, that must be a huge relief!  :)  Also glad your DH can see, that must be a huge help. Keep positive, we are here for you.  :-*

Wow that was quick MF - enjoy the peace & quiet of your own home once more.  I wouldn't be inviting her back to family get togethers for a while though - she would have to earn her way back in for me to do that in a hurry.  I'm afraid my children wouldn't have time for someone like that, Auntie or not!

Sounds  like she has "issues" and needs some professional help.

MF great to hear that DH is supportive and she is at least not living in your house anymore. That behaviour is really not right and I agree with Gert that she has issues that are best dealt with by a professional.

Looks good Den.

MF, OMG, glad you got her out.

Sounds like a drama queen I know, and choose not to talk to at all.

Funny, you can choose your friends, not your family.

But, you don't have to put up with them, Just don't entertain her, as if she does not exist. :D

No JD it wasn't that quick this ultimatum was before we went away on our trip in April!!!
Sorry if I confused everyone.
She is still up to her antics and playing the victim big time even more since she has gone.
My girls understand what happened here but unfortunately didn't see too much as she tried to be soooo nice when anyone came to the house.
Also I don't know what she was saying to people about me.
My friend saw a lot and told me she was bad mouthing me to her so she took her off her email list and Facebook. My friend was here from Scotland for 6 weeks and lived with us so she saw everything first hand. Even my cleaner saw it.
I agree that she needs help but she says no and her attitude is and was that it's her family and she can do what she wants!!!
She was omitted from family functions but convinced my DIL to invite her to my GD's birthday party. I said ok but I won't be there which kicked off another drama last weekend. My DH was away and was furious when he came home.
It's never ending. Unfortunately she has nobody else, I wonder why, so she makes people feel sorry for her.

Once again thanks for listening. My DH is trying to sort it out  for me as he is very supportive and knows his sister well.
