Tell her to wash it every day. It will fade and be just right.  Been there dome that. Now I love my grey.

I am sure she will soon get used to it Amy.
Most importantly she is getting better  :)

Thanks MF :-* :-* :-*

Mum isn't quite ready to embrace grey hair yet Gert. She's still only 48 ;) Thanks for the tip, I will tell her :)

Amy I hope your mum's hair tones down and she likes it.

I have spent the day cooking and ironing but my day isn't over yet.

Sorry Amy I didn't know about your mum. I hope I wasn't insensitive didn't mean to be. It's strange how chemo effects people differently. My mil lost it all only to have it grow back like straw. Mums friend didn't grow much back at all and dad lost hardly any if none. I am sure your mum looks great and importantly is feeling better. :)

You weren't insensitive at all Kimmy, and how were you to know anyway :-*

Your poor MIL :( That was one thing my mum was worried about. She just wanted her own hair back, and she was lucky thats what she got. Except its even more curly than before, if thats possible! ;D
I think it also depends on the type of chemo. Mum had two different types and I think she had about 8 rounds all together. Your dad must have had the sort that doesn't make people lose their hair ;)
She does look great, thanks Kimmy :D

All new colours take a bit of getting use to. And husbands hate change, especially in our age group. My DH doesn't like it when I go too red or too short. At the moment it is quite blonde he loves it I don't know. I'm going to get it done again on Thursday and think it will be auburn.

If your mum isn't use to colouring her hair it may take a while and if she really doesn't like it, colour it again, at least you have somewhere to go from this time.

Went for a good look around Gaganis Bros this morning.  What a place, loved it. Didn't buy much as I'm quite well stocked but it was worth the visit.  :D

That sounds like great fun JulieO.

The day is young here, but my plans are to do some ironing, more washing, go shopping and make bookings to have my hair cut, go to the podiatrist, get my eyebrows done and ring Rockingham to see if they have any of my anniversary gifts in.
I'll probably only achieve the phone calls as I am thinking I will be on here doing a bit of catching up.

Well a crazy busy day here.

dropped the kids off to school at 8.10, went to work, and within 15 minutes, a call from school. :'(

Our DS has fallen over, and smashed his 2 front teeth, so a emergency dash to dentist.
another appointment Friday, then Maybe the specialist in Townsville to save them, (sort of).

So looks like lots of ice cream, custard and jelly :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
