My oven must have overheard the terrible things I said about it yesterday. I came home from a meeting and went to boil the kettle and............e erything went dark. All the power went off. The kettle is over 20 years old, so maybe it is time for a new one. However DH went out to the meter box and tried to turn the power back  on. Nothing. Nada   Totally dark inside. By a process of elimination we ha e discovered fhat the circuit that the oven is on is the faulty one.
So now I have no electric kettle and no oven and it's too late to get someone out to fix it  :-[ :-[ :-[

Oh no ES that's no good  :(
Hopefully you can get someone out first thing tomorrow.
Be careful what you say about your oven in future as it was obviously listening  ;)

Thanks Amy, Kimmy & JD. I love Harry dearly. As DH works nights , its just me and Harry. We love watching The Bold and the Beautiful, a bit of a walk and some online shopping.  ;D

Michele Harry is gorgeous, he looks just like my mum's late cocker spaniel George he was so special and lived until he was nearly 16 ;D

Just back from my afternoon walk with the dog.Enjoying a cup of tea ;D.Did a different route and only saw a couple of horse riders on the bridal path and a neighbour with her two spaniels.
