Stocktake finished, now just have to update the books - only 3,500 items to do, but that can wait until tomorrow.

Lots to do today, not sure if all achievable.

Bake, ride, ironing, plant new section of garden got ready yesterday, prepare more ground, visit new farm shop opening as DH asked  to go.
Cook roast chicken for 6pm, DD should be back from - 21st party then, and hopefully SIT DOWN and watch tinker tailor spy film after supper as we  have iton DVD.

Think I'd  better start now and get out of bed.

CC,
Fiona cooked steamed salmon in the varoma with yogurt sauce, watermelon salad, green soup, bread, curie chicken and rice, and a sponge cake. Everything was delicious.

The money that is made from the Devil of a Cookbook and the classes is to aid the Tasmanian devils that are suffering from a form of facial cancer. Fiona with other wonderful people have started a program to save these little animals from extinction :)

Thanks Desi :-* I would have loved to eaten it as well ;)

Well rain interrupted riding and gardening this am.
Managed to bake 3 lemon drizzle and 30 biscuits.

Then went out to farm shop opening for an hour, bought new potatoes and apples. It will only be open 2 hrs week, it's in a school.

Then did manage to garden and prepare some more ground and plant 6 more plants.

I put a weigelia, fancy delphinium, and 2 rudbeckia at this end of this bed today. This is the front of the house, I only started this bed in May. The ferocious winds have snapped all my beans and stopped the climbing. Weird season.

The two grey/purple plants are in late but I want self seeders. This picture won't post. Will try another reply.

The bare pics shows what more there is to do. Yards and yards like that. Last summer was a jumble of weeds and ivy. We moved in November

Wonder, I'm sorry to read of your loss.

Astara, my prayers are with you today.

I probably won't get a lot done today except continue working on stocktake and going to the airport. Brat boy gets back at lunchtime...I must admit that I'm counting the hours.  We might take him out this afternoon, just to keep him up until tonight.

Don't you love a frosty morning when you peg clothes on the line while the pegs are still frozen (yes I need to learn to bring them in side of a night)
Then you give your DH a kiss before he leaves for work while putting your frozen hands on his face :D
Lol he did jump (insert evil laugh) ;D
