I am off to a retirement afternoon tea for one of the school staff I support. She is retiring after 40 years of service to the school.

We lived in Broome for a couple of years. The worst time of the year was October when the sun was directly overhead. They called it suicide month. The humidity in Port Hedland is much much worse than Broome. It was the only place I have enjoyed doing duty in the rain.

Work, it was a very busy day. As it's a private hospital all the surgeons are pushing their cases through at a phenomenal rate before Christmas when the surgical wards close for 2 weeks.

Day goes fast although I don't feel I spend enough time with my patients.  :)

Amy - So many things on my to do list including an online exam.  But it is cold windy and wet so I have just played on the iPad reading recipes  I did just stuff 2 squash for tea and about to make a pie for lunch then of to work for 3 hours. 
Don't want to go out in the storm ;(

finished decorating the Christmas mantle   :D, More paddock runs, massive overhaul in my bedroom...still in progress  :-)), about to pick up the boy from training, then I'll think about dinner...couldn't really be bothered tonight  :-\

I took Goliath out again today. I'm so proud of him, he managed to get over a curb!!! :o :D It was my fault for driving too close to it obviously, but he got right over it! ;D
Now its peeing down with rain. And possibly hail, it sounds very heavy :-\

I have spent the evening cooking desserts in preparation for our work christmas party on Saturday - about 50 adults and 20 kids - yikes  :o

And right now I am filling paper bags with mixed lollies for Santa to give to the kids when he visits - one for the bag and one for me, one for the bag and one for me ........ OMG no wonder I feel quite ill  :-)) :-))
