Washing and cleaning and fixing things. DS5 has been at school for two days and already cut his shorts with scissors and broken the strap off his hat. Boys!

oh how did he enjoy school Kimmy?.....were you the Mother at the gates with tears, or the Mum doing heel kicks & punching the sky with glee?......I was the latter  ;) LOL

Nice day out with my girl shopping today.....well truthfully, it was more the case of dragging her around everywhere, to whines of when we're leaving, but in my mind it was mutual fun  :D

Time for a nice hot shower, as we're up early tomorrow.....watching a friend competing in a  camp-drafting comp.....he's trying to talk Hubby into doing it as well, but realistically, his well operated body (football injuries)....would just have a good laugh at him!

.........EAT CAKE!

He loved school Maddy. Went two days then had a rest day which he was not happy about. I was ok....more the stunned mum... Oh this is really happening. Thought about him all day. Would school swallow him up? But he survived and so did I. The peace and quiet with only one home is amazing!!  Have a great day Maddy. Sleep ins another time.

.....while searching for info regarding flood peak came across this magical pic (with thanks to Lyn Dumesny) - pity that in the daylight that almost mystical water is filthy, muddy smelly flood water - reality follows

Wow I've landed at that airport heaps and never saw anything like that before johnro. It was always brown everywhere except for a splash of colour out in the station country where there was a bouganvillia at a water trough/mill/tank.
Do hope it all receeds soon and everyone can get themselves on the road to some normality.

Hi everyone! I have been away on. Holiday in beautiful Denmark WA, so cool compared to Perth!! Very relaxing. Been away from my TMX for a week so guess what I'm doing today!!!  Apologies in advance if I'm not abreast of everyone's news I don't think I will have time to catch on a weeks on postings.  Busy week ahead, several toastmaster commitments then going up to Broome for work. 😄

Doing some sewing today.  Just putting together a couple of blocks for a quilt I am making.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
